The Dispensing Nurse is responsible for administering medications as ordered, maintaining strict medication accountability, and ensuring compliance with all DEA, FDA, and Board of Pharmacy regulations<img alt=\"\" src=\"https://i.ibb.co/KckHJ8Hy/Dispensing-Nurse-I-LPN.png\" style=\"float:right; height:450px; width:450px\" /> while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.</p>\n\n<p>Schedule:<br />\n&bull; Full-time, 40 hours per week<br />\n&bull; JHC Clinic: 5:30 AM &ndash; 2:00 PM<br />\n&bull; Mobile Medical Unit (MMU): 5:30 AM &ndash; 4:00 PM<br />\n&bull; Saturday hours at JHC Clinic: 5:30 AM &ndash; 10:30 AM</p>\n\n<p>Essential Functions:<br />\n&bull; Administer Methadone or Buprenorphine/Naloxone or Monotherapy Buprenorphine (Suboxone/Subutex) as ordered by the Medical Director and providers<br />\n&bull; Maintain accurate accounting of all medication received and dispensed<br />\n&bull; Safeguard all medication stock and ensure compliance with DEA, State Board of Pharmacy, and JHC recordkeeping requirements<br />\n&bull; Conduct breath alcohol testing, urine collection and processing, and interpret results as needed; ensure accurate documentation<br />\n&bull; Work within scope of license to obtain vital signs, perform nursing assessments, provide treatment (including wound care), and patient education<br />\n&bull; Assess patient conditions and report observations to providers<br />\n&bull; Alert treatment team to changes in patient status<br />\n&bull; Enter and update prescriptions in the electronic health record (EHR)<br />\n&bull; Accurately document patient encounters and incidents per required guidelines<br />\n&bull; Record inter-agency communications in a timely and compliant manner<br />\n&bull; Educate patients on proper medication use and effects<br />\n&bull; Maintain current statistical records<br />\n&bull; Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care<br />\n&bull; Follow all clinic workflows and protocols established by JHC and the DEA<br />\n&bull; Adhere to all JHC policies, including safety standards, HIPAA, and Occupational Exposure Control Plan<br />\n&bull; Perform other duties as assigned</p>\n\n<p>Requirements:<br />\n&bull; Graduation from an accredited school of nursing<br />\n&bull; Current, unrestricted LPN license in Washington State<br />\n&bull; Minimum three (3) years of clinic experience<br />\n&bull; Experience using Electronic Health Records (EHRs)<br />\n&bull; Strong ethical standards, professional boundaries, empathy, and communication skills<br />\n&bull; Ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment and understand trauma-informed care<br />\n&bull; Knowledge of confidentiality regulations including 42 CFR Part 2, RCW, and WAC<br />\n&bull; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite<br />\n&bull; Ability to pass a criminal background check<br />\n&bull; Meet current vaccination requirements<br />\n&bull; Valid Washington State Driver&rsquo;s License and ability to travel as needed<br />\n&bull; CPR/First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)</p>\n\n<p>Preferred Qualifications:<br />\n&bull; Experience in substance use disorder treatment and/or primary care<br />\n&bull; Knowledge of medical practices in primary care, mental health, and addiction medicine<br />\n&bull; Understanding of substance use disorders and their impact on individuals, families, and communities<br />\n&bull; Knowledge of local, state, and federal healthcare regulations<br />\n&bull; Experience with office operations, compliance, and administrative processes<br />\n&bull; Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills<br />\n&bull; Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities</p>\n\n<p>Additional Information:<br />\n&bull; Jamestown Healing Clinic is committed to providing culturally responsive, patient-centered care<br />\n&bull; American Indian/Alaska Native hiring preference applies</p>\n\n<p>Join a team that is making a meaningful impact in the community every day.</p>\n",
