Other duties may be assigned to address business needs and changing business practices.</em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Receives, processes and tags incoming material</li>\n <li>Moves inventory materials to their respective area</li>\n <li>Issues parts to areas of work in process</li>\n <li>Uses steel cutters, crowbar, clawhammer or other hand tools to open containers.</li>\n <li>Performs cycle counting and physical inventories</li>\n <li>Maintains equipment in clean, good working order</li>\n <li>Documents and enters inventory information into the computer system</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<p><em>The following generally describes requirements to successfully perform the assigned duties.</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience in forklift operations</li>\n <li>Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including, but not limited to, steel toed boots, goggles, ear plugs, gloves</li>\n <li>Proficient in computer software applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate and collaborate professionally, both verbally and in writing, at all levels</li>\n <li>Ability to organize and prioritize projects and information with accuracy, under tight timeframes, to meet organizational needs</li>\n <li>Ability to set goals independently and take initiative to accomplish them</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Materials or warehouse experience</li>\n <li>One + years work experience as a material handler in an industrial setting</li>\n <li>Proficient with the American Association of Railroads (AAR) and Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) industry and customer requirements</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Work Environment and Physical Requirements</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p>\n<p><em>The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
