          "text": "<p><strong>Reports To: </strong>Design Manager</p><p><strong>FLSA Status: </strong>Hourly/Non-Exempt</p><p><strong>Purpose:</strong> Provide material list and structural design for building projects</p><p><u><strong>Construction Estimator Principal Accountabilities</strong></u></p><ol><li>Analyze and interpret information to meet or exceed requirements of local municipality design standards</li><li>Process supplied information that results in correct and efficient structural design of building projects in a timely manner</li><li>Verify all provided information is in correct format for efficient manufacturing of building projects</li></ol><p><strong><u>Construction Estimator Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul><li>Review and acclimate yourself to building project plans and specifications</li><li>Input information into MITEK software to provide accurate solutions</li><li>Develop correct formats for end users (layouts, batching, material list, point-of-sale export, etc.)</li><li>Upload project information to correct data storage location for future reference</li></ul><p><u><strong>Construction Estimator Knowledge &amp; Skills</strong></u></p><ul><li>Ability to communicate design aspects in simplified format to customers or end users</li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, CAD software and 3D modeling</li><li>Working knowledge of residential building principles</li><li>Intermediate math skills to include geometry</li><li>General understanding of load development</li><li>Ability to read and understand building plans</li><li>Possess strong attention to details</li></ul><p><u><strong>Construction Estimator Experience</strong></u> </p><ul><li>1-3 years working with Microsoft Office, CAD and/or 3D modeling software</li><li>6 months of proven customer service experience</li></ul><p><u><strong>Behaviors</strong></u>  </p><ul><li>Exemplify defined company values</li><li>Shares ideas and information in a respectful and tactful manner</li><li>Self motivated - driven to achieve results</li><li>Takes pride in achievement of team objectives</li><li>High customer service ethic (internal and external customers) - is passionate about exceeding customer expectations and improving service levels</li><li>Keeps pace with change - acquires knowledge/skills as the business develops</li></ul><p><u><strong>Qualifications</strong></u></p><ul><li>Must pass required company drug screens as part of drug-free workplace</li><li>2 years of college or technical school or 3 years of relevant experience</li></ul><p><u><em>Disclaimer</em></u></p><p>This role description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by the individuals within this classification.  It is not designed to contain or be interpreted as a comprehensive inventory of all accountabilities, responsibilities, skills and qualifications of those assigned to this role.</p>",
