    "description": "<h2>Responsibilities/Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Homestead Health Care is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wellness Director to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our community.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>If you have management experience and demonstrated compassion towards the elderly, we are looking for you. This is an on-call position. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily operations, covering shifts as needed, and ensuring the well-being of our seniors, which includes assisting with ADLs. We believe in creating a warm and supportive environment for our residents and staff and are looking for someone who shares our vision. If you are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of the elderly and have managerial skills to lead a team, we encourage you to apply.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>LPN License preferred</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong> Duties include but are not limited to:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Mentor, provide support, training and direction to Resident Assistants and Med Techs</li>\n <li>Follow up on issues, review 24 hours logs –corrective actions for med errors, absences, etc. </li>\n <li>Assess any care complaints</li>\n <li>Conduct QA audits, review Incident reports/med errors and put interventions/training in place </li>\n <li>Identifies on-going needs and services of residents in promotion of the highest quality resident services to be delivered</li>\n <li>Maintains communications with resident’s family and or responsible party to ensure medical needs are being met</li>\n <li>Contact resident’s attending physician when necessary and/or upon family request</li>\n <li>Assess, monitors and follows up with residents who have experienced any fall, accident or incident; documents and reports as required and directed</li>\n <li>Monitors the Medication Room, med charts and treatment carts for neatness, cleanliness, availability of medications and expired medications</li>\n <li>Assist residents with care: dressing, bathing and toileting as needed</li>\n <li>Be available for afterhours clinical concerns as needed</li>\n <li>Schedule and interview applicants.</li>\n <li>Responsible for clinical oversight of all resident care services and all wellness related Specialty Programs.</li>\n <li>Responsible to provide strong leadership support to all clinical and wellness team members.</li>\n <li>Meet with each new admit to discussing needs and expectations, audit of med waiver and private pay charting, updates to med waiver counselors, and med cart audit every other week.</li>\n <li>Order clinical supplies.</li>\n <li>End of month: monthly private pay ADL flow sheet changeover, monthly shower sheet distribution, billing support.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Opportunities for advancement.</li>\n <li>Medical, dental, and vision insurance.</li>\n <li>Employee recognition events.</li>\n <li>Paid time off.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements needed:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>LPN experience preferred</li>\n <li>Prior experience managing a senior living facility (2 years).</li>\n <li>Able to be on-call for all three shifts, as needed.</li>\n <li>Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively and delegate responsibilities to the appropriate individuals.</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal skills for effective communication and the ability to facilitate small group presentations.</li>\n <li>Proficient in organizational and time management skills.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.</li>\n <li>Demonstration of proficiency in computer skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours as needed for resident care/services, must be available to our residents at peak service times and as needed.</li>\n</ul>",
