You will support our project delivery and growth in multiple market sectors and will work closely with a team of scientists and engineers in the&nbsp;<strong>Redmond, WA</strong> or <strong>Tigard, OR</strong>&nbsp;office. Our ideal candidate will be a key member of a team providing project and client management services for hydrogeologic characterization, environmental investigations, water resources assessment, and operational water management.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Your Impact</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Conduct environmental site assessments (Phase I and II).</li><li>Complete analysis of literature, data, laboratory samples, and other sources of information uncovering primary, secondary, and tertiary chemical impacts.</li><li>Conduct geologic and hydrogeologic investigations, hydrogeologic testing, geologic and hydrogeologic visualization, analytical and numerical groundwater flow modeling, contaminated sites investigations, and development of conceptual site models.&nbsp;</li><li>Contribute to action plans for larger-scale pollution, corrosion, hazardous waste, and environmental control programs.</li><li>Participate in the application for environmental permits to address issues or concerns and with undertaking any resulting corrective strategies.&nbsp;</li><li>Project management and regulatory agency communications, with responsibilities appropriate to the level of experience of the individual&nbsp;</li><li>Support proposal writing and maintaining/developing client relationships to ensure project delivery and generation of repeat business.</li><li>Classify contaminated soil or environmental materials such as hazardous waste and provide guidance in their disposal.&nbsp;</li><li>Provide verbal and/or written inputs to multi-disciplinary project teams.</li><li>Mentor early career staff to support their growth and professional development.</li></ul><p><strong>Who You Are</strong></p><p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Geosciences or closely related discipline.</li><li>7-10 years of post-education experience working as a Geologist or Hydrogeologist.&nbsp;</li><li>Proficient with analytical geology concepts, research, investigation, technology, measurement tools, software, and techniques.</li><li>Project management experience with mid-level projects including tracking hours and expenses for project work</li><li>Experience in site investigations/characterization (e.g., logging boreholes; designing, installing, and developing wells in a variety of hydrogeologic settings for environmental site assessment) and sampling procedures (e.g., soil, water, soil gas, air, and hazardous waste).&nbsp;</li><li>Experience in the design, execution and analysis of pumping tests and slug tests in a variety of hydrogeologic settings, and selection of appropriate analytical methods.<span>&nbsp;</span></li><li>Experience in developing Work Plans and Data Summary Reports for site characterization and feasibility studies in accordance with CERCLA and other regulatory guidelines.</li><li>Experience in conducting Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments in accordance with ASTM guidelines and industry standards.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with UST investigations and remediation including investigation of hydro-carbon impacted sites.&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of federal and state regulatory programs (e.g. &nbsp;MTCA, RCRA, CERCLA).&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Proficiency with office automation and communication software, technology, and tools.</li><li>Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.</li><li>&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Prior project experience in the Pacific Northwest is highly desired.&nbsp;</li><li>A Master’s or PhD Degree in environmental science/hydrogeology, geology, geosciences, or similar field.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, ArcGIS, MODFLOW, R, Python, etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with environmental statistics and site closure strategies is highly desired.&nbsp;</li><li>Professional Engineer (PE) and/or Professional Geologist (PG) and/or Licensed Hydrogeologist (LHg ) and/or Certified Water Rights Examiner (CWRE).</li><li>40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER health and safety training.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Compensation and Benefits:&nbsp;<br>WSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings focused on a providing health and financial stability throughout the employee’s career.&nbsp;</p><p>Expected Salary: $104,700 - $133,300</p><p>WSP USA is providing the compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that the company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and geographic location.
