    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>POSITION SUMMARY:</p><p>Dover Motion is seeking a customer obsessed Sales Engineer to join our team.&nbsp; The Sales Engineer’s primary responsibilities will include qualifying all incoming customer leads and inquiries in a timely, professional and positive manner; promoting Dover Motion products and solutions through Consultative Value Selling to determine optimal solutions; preparing quotes and proposals for customers based on incoming leads; and maintaining positive relationships with existing customers.</p><p>&nbsp;KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p><ul><li><p style=\"tab-stops:list .25in left 91.5pt;\">Interpret customer requirements and assist customers in defining and selecting the appropriate Dover Motion product(s).</p></li><li><p style=\"tab-stops:list .25in left 91.5pt;\">Negotiate with customers on best pricing under direction of Senior Management.</p></li><li><p style=\"tab-stops:list .25in left 91.5pt;\">Document special pricing and custom engineering requests and follow up to make sure requests are completed and presented to customers in a timely fashion.</p></li><li><p style=\"tab-stops:list .25in left 91.5pt;\">Utilize Hubspot CRM including capturing all Leads and Customer Information and entering information in an accurate and timely manner.</p></li><li><p style=\"tab-stops:list .25in left 91.5pt;\">Provide technical drawings or product specifications when needed.</p></li><li><p style=\"tab-stops:list .25in left 91.5pt;\">Manage assigned accounts for product direction/forecasting, profitability, growth, and attaining sales objectives.</p></li><li><p style=\"tab-stops:list .25in left 91.5pt;\">Coordinate activities (custom requests, training, visits from and to customers) in partnership with Business Development, Engineering, and Operations as appropriate.</p></li><li><p style=\"tab-stops:list .25in left 91.5pt;\">Support Dover’s strategic marketing activities (webinars, tradeshows, white papers, etc.) when required via sales support, content creation, etc.</p></li><li><p style=\"tab-stops:list .25in left 91.5pt;\">Cold call prospective customers or open/lost/unresolved leads in Hubspot and follow-up with customers from product CAD site download.</p></li><li><p style=\"tab-stops:list .25in left 91.5pt;\">Acts as a backup in answering Dover incoming phone calls, sales order entry and responding to customer issues / returns / requests through e-mail and phone.</p></li></ul><p style=\"tab-stops:list .25in left 91.5pt;\">QUALIFICATIONS:</p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;\"><li>Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Engineering preferred, Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience required.</li><li>5+ years of technical sales in motion control or manufacturing industry experience.</li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-top:0in;\">Proven experience supporting customers and/or applications engineering needs.</p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-top:0in;\">Experience in motion products/technology product company required.</p></li></ul><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-top:0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p>ABOUT DOVER MOTION:</p><p>We are revolutionizing the way things move.
