The ideal candidate is comfortable working across the entire technology stack—from frontend interfaces to backend services and databases—and has a strong understanding of modern development practices, automation, and cloud native architecture. This role will also contribute to infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment processes.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>This role requires full-time on-site presence, Monday through Friday, at our customer location in Colorado Springs, CO.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Design, build, and maintain end-to-end web applications, APIs, and services.</li>\n <li>Develop responsive, user-friendly frontend interfaces using modern frameworks.</li>\n <li>Build, optimize, and scale server-side logic and databases.</li>\n <li>Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated builds, testing, and deployments.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement technical solutions.</li>\n <li>Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and engineering best practices.</li>\n <li>Write clean, testable, and maintainable code while contributing to automated testing frameworks.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and infrastructure issues across the stack.</li>\n <li>Stay current with emerging technologies, DevOps trends, and cloud automation practices to propose continuous improvements.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Education/Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Required:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>U.S. citizenship required, with eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance; non U.S. citizens cannot be considered for this position.</strong></li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 4 years of software development experience (full-stack or backend)</li>\n <li>Must be available to work on-site five days per week at our customer facility in Colorado Springs, CO.</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of server-side languages and frameworks (Node.js, Python, Java, .NET, or similar).</li>\n <li>Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, )</li>\n <li>Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).</li>\n <li>Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.</li>\n <li>Understanding of automation and infrastructure-as-code concepts.</li>\n <li>Experience with Ansible for configuration management.</li>\n <li>Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Preferred:</u></strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>U.S. Dept. of Defense active TS/SCI clearance.</li>\n <li>Proficiency with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.</li>\n <li>Experience with microservices or event-driven architectures.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of API design standards (REST, GraphQL).</li>\n <li>Familiarity with automated testing frameworks for both front‑end and back‑end services.</li>\n <li>Understanding of security best practices, secure coding techniques, and secrets management.</li>\n <li>Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.</li>\n <li>Background with agile methodologies and DevOps workflows.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with GitLab-runners, Sonatype IQ, and ACAS/Nessus</li>\n</ul>\n<p>For this role, the compensation range for candidates in Colorado is $105k - 180k.</p>\n<p>*Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
