We are looking for dedicated technicians to join our team.</div></div></div></div></div></div><p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><strong>General Responsibilities</strong><br>To ensure that all required tasks are performed safely, accurately and on schedule.</p><p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><strong>Specific Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Carry out method statements for all required assays and equipment<br>maintenance/operation in an efficient manner, including proper documentation.</p></li><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Analyze and report data in a safe and timely manner.</p></li><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Uphold quality control standards to ensure accuracy of analyses.</p></li><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Perform fire assaying duties as required.</p><ul><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">These include fluxing, fusing, deslagging, cupelling, digesting and reading<br>samples.</p></li></ul></li><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Troubleshooting instruments/equipment as needed.</p></li><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Other duties as assigned.</p></li></ul><p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><strong>Skill Experience Requirements</strong></p><ul><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Bachelor of Science, BCIT Assayers Certification or equivalent.</p></li><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">1 year lab experience.</p></li><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Ability to work independently or as a team.</p></li><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Working knowledge of Excel and Word.</p></li><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Good communication and interpersonal skills.</p></li></ul><p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><strong>Salary &amp; Benefits Information</strong></p><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">The base wage or salary range for this position is up to $28.00 per hour. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
