Estimators will often work on a team on larger projects but may also be responsible for the complete process on smaller bids.  Estimators are expected to price estimates for review.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bid setup, summary form data entry, bid pricing, and bid scheduling.</li>\n <li>Review and incorporate historical data from productivity analysis reports, etc. into unit and man-hour figures.</li>\n <li>Provide complete conceptual (or bidwork) and final estimating input on small projects. </li>\n <li>Provide take off and technical support to Sr. Estimators preparing larger estimates </li>\n <li>Review proposal specifications, drawings, attend pre-bid meetings, etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate. </li>\n <li>Train and mentor Junior Estimators</li>\n <li>Heavy Bid maintenance (labor, crew, activity, and bid master codebooks)</li>\n <li>Solicit, document, and analyze subcontractor/vendors quotations. </li>\n <li>Bid to project data transfer (phase codes and budgeting)</li>\n <li>Ensure all working documents and data are maintained to back-up estimate figures.</li>\n <li>Provide award related submittals</li>\n <li>Track awarded contracts as required – may include estimating/pricing extra work items, change orders and credit.</li>\n <li>Assist contracting team during preparation of inquiries and final evaluation of submitted bids as required. </li>\n <li>Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Education and experience requirements include: 4 year engineering degree or equivalent combinations technical training and/or related experience. </li>\n <li>Must have 3+ years estimating, cost control and/or engineering experience (at least 1 year estimating) in construction.</li>\n <li>Ability to estimate all types of projects/contracts, plus ability to coordinate and supervise group work effort is essential </li>\n <li>Must have the ability to prepare small and non-multispecialty proposals with minimal supervision. Incumbent will have oversight for profit/loss responsibility to the company. </li>\n <li>Specialty estimating experience in one of Posillico’s operations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Software skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Microsoft Office applications </li>\n <li>HCSS (including Heavy Bid/Heavy Job)</li>\n <li>Business Center Training</li>\n <li>Scheduling software/CPM (including Primavera and MS Project)</li>\n <li>Viewpoint (PM module, JC module)</li>\n <li>Strong technical and proposal writing skills</li>\n <li>OSHA Training</li>\n <li>ISQFT cloud based sub/vendor solicitation software</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Reports to:</strong> Senior Estimator </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Location: </strong>West Palm Beach, Fl</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Equal Employment Opportunity</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Posillico Civil, Inc. is committed to maintaining a working environment that promotes teamwork and that is free of any and all forms of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
