We value our professional and caring employees who are dedicated to improving people’s lives and we want&nbsp;<strong>YOU&nbsp;</strong>to join our team!</p>\n<p><strong>What&nbsp;you will be doing: </strong>Responsible for determining graduate qualifications for placement, conducting placement activities and follow-up in compliance with government and management directives.</p>\n<p><strong><u>Essential Functions</u>:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain linkages with DOL, national, state and local agencies and employees to provide placement services</li>\n <li>Identify potential jobs, schools, military or other training program placements for separating graduates and conduct job development activities; maintain placement follow-up on separated graduates</li>\n <li>Directly place graduates to meet or exceed DOL contractual monthly placement goals; verify and document all placements according to requirements</li>\n <li>Complete all required documentation in CTS and in individual folders for assigned graduates until their service period ends</li>\n <li>Prepare placement reports and assist in the development of the contract’s placement plan</li>\n <li>Coordinate with center staff to provide placement information to students</li>\n <li>Participate in industry advisory councils, community relations councils as assigned</li>\n <li>As requested, conduct career support activities in support of centers and regional office efforts</li>\n <li>Participate in the development of new and revised policies and procedures affecting placement activities</li>\n <li>Promote the development of career success standards by modeling appropriate behaviors, mentoring students when necessary and monitoring both positive and negative behaviors through interventions</li>\n <li>Support, promote, and enforce the Job Corps’ Zero Tolerance Policy</li>\n <li>Maintain accountability of students and property; adhere to safety practices</li>\n <li>Cultivate and maintain a climate on center which is free of harassment, intimidation and disrespect to provide a safe place for staff and students to work and learn.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0.25in\"><strong><u>EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business, communications, or closely related field; or associate’s degree and two years related experience required</li>\n <li>Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and computer proficiency also required</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Management &amp; Training Corporation (MTC) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
