Since day one, glassybaby has been all about giving, and we have donated more than 11 million dollars to charities that are dedicated to healing people as well as the environment. glassybaby is known for giving, kindness, strong customer service and high-quality products. The <strong>Quality Control Manager</strong> at the Redmond hotshop will be countable for all products created on site. This individual will ensure glassybaby meets quality standards. &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Primary Duties:</strong></div><div>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Examine and oversee examination of all glassybaby products flaws and variations according to set standards.</div><div>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Process firsts, reanneals and seconds into their correct locations into data bases, various quality control spread sheets and the warehouse</div><div>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Insure inventory accuracy and accounting of all products&nbsp;</div><div>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Gather and track performance data for each team. Insure accuracy and integrity of the data.&nbsp;</div><div>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Routinely meet with individual glass blowers or teams to go over reoccurring quality issues, suggesting corrective action. Monitor progress and provide feedback.</div><div>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Manage all QC personnel and insure that they are adhering to all qc standards and procedures</div><div>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Ensure that new products are correctly entered into data bases and Netsuite inventory and are correctly received by the warehouse staff.</div><div>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Responsible for the staffing, training, retraining and management of all Berkeley based QC personnel.&nbsp;</div><div>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Communication regarding inventory status, and escalation of production issues.</div><div>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>As it relates to product quality, be a point of contact for local retail and WEB managers.</div><div>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Inform appropriate staff of issues that may indicate equipment malfunction, color failure, or operator error.</div><div>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Work with Production Manager to ensure any quality issues are documented and reported systematically to the glassblower teams as appropriate.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><strong>Qualifications: &nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</div><div>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>High School diploma or GED.</div><div>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>5 years&rsquo; experience in furnace glass, or equivalent highly preferred</div><div>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Ability to comprehensively understand hot shop operational and production process</div><div>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>High standard of attention to detail.</div><div>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Professional, courteous, and clear verbal and written communication skills.</div><div>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Ability to multitask, managing many different projects with varying degrees of urgency and frequent changes.</div><div>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Ability to think quickly and critically, with excellent problem-solving skills.</div><div>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and Google Docs.</div><div>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Ability to lift to 35 pounds. &nbsp;</div></div></div>\n",
