    "description": "<h2>Min</h2>USD $43,000.00/Yr.\n<h2>Max</h2>USD $48,000.00/Yr.\n<h2>Position Overview</h2>\n<p>S:US is seeking a <strong>Shift Supervisor</strong> for their men's shelter in Brooklyn.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position is located at <strong>Ralph Avenue Brooklyn, NY 11233.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>SCOPE OF ROLE</strong>: </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Shift Supervisor provides supervision and training to residential aides and community coordinators. </p>\n<p>Supervision includes, but is not limited to, ongoing individual supervisory meetings; building inspections, ongoing feedback regarding job performance; coordinating work schedules, timesheets and requests for time off; coordinating work assignments; evaluating paperwork and documentation including the Security Log and Maintenance Work Order Log books; coordinating security and maintenance staff training, development and evaluation. May be required to fulfill duties of residential aides and/or custodial personnel in their absence.Responsible for maintaining fire safety, and administrative duties.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED required</li>\n <li>2+ years of experience in Security or Building Maintenance is required. </li>\n <li>Ability to provide crisis intervention utilizing good interpersonal skills with a high level of maturity and responsibility </li>\n <li>Experience in office management and/or staff supervision is required. </li>\n <li>Experience working in a large residential/institutional setting with a special need’s population is required. </li>\n <li>Strong writing, interpersonal, and organizational skills required. </li>\n <li>F-80 is required. </li>\n <li>Security license is mandatory but may be obtained within 6 months if hired. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><em>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS</em></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>NYS Driver’s License preferred </li>\n <li>Bilingual English/Spanish speaking preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Company Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>S:US IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER</strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Join a team of employees who care about the wellbeing of others.
