As a Crew Chief, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing surveying operations, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects while leading a talented team of surveying professionals. Candidates must have at least 3 years’ experience as a Crew Chief in the land survey profession.</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Functions and Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Lead and supervise survey crews in the field, assigning tasks and ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Conduct field surveys using advanced surveying equipment, including total stations, GPS, and data collectors.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Perform boundary surveys, topographic surveys, construction staking, and other surveying tasks as required.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Interpret survey data and prepare accurate field notes, sketches, and reports.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure project objectives are met.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Maintain survey equipment in proper working condition and perform routine maintenance as needed.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for the survey crew.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Perform other duties as assigned.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying, 3 years as a Crew Chief with a proven track record of leadership.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(224, 62, 45); font-weight: bold\">This position will require driving a company vehicle. Therefore, a valid driver's license and no infractions for a minimum of 3 years is required to be approved to drive a company vehicle and added to the company insurance policy.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS, and data collectors.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Strong understanding of surveying principles, techniques, and methodologies.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Excellent organizational and communication skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Proficiency in OSHA safety regulations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Must be willing and able to enroll in OSHA and other compliance and policy programs.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The ability to bend, stoop, reach, and lift 75 lbs.
