The Technologist performs a variety of neurodiagnostic procedures including EEG, EMG/NCS, and sleep studies. We even offer pet insurance for your four-legged family members. • Early access to earned wages with Daily Pay, tuition reimbursement to help further your career and adoption assistance to help you grow your family. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>With a collective goal to champion a culture of belonging where everyone feels valued and respected, we honor the ways people are unique and embrace what brings us together.   </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>And, we believe equipping you with support and development opportunities is a vital part of delivering an exceptional employment experience. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Join our team of experts and make a difference with UnityPoint Health.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform EEG, NCS/EMG, and sleep study procedures, preparing patients, applying electrodes, and ensuring comfort and safety. </li>\n <li>Identify normal and abnormal findings, troubleshoot equipment issues, and document notable activity for physician review. </li>\n <li>Maintain, clean, calibrate, and troubleshoot neurodiagnostic equipment; provide oncall coverage as scheduled. </li>\n <li>Deliver compassionate, appropriate care across neonatal through geriatric populations while protecting patient privacy and confidentiality. </li>\n <li>Accurately document patient history, test data, and reports in the EHR while ensuring compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, TJC, and DNV standards. </li>\n <li>Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, participate in meetings and education, and assist in training students or new staff. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong>  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or equivalent is required </li>\n <li>Graduate of accredited Neurodiagnostic/END program is preferred; enrollment in a CAAHEP- accredited program is acceptable </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:</strong>  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must have a minimum of 6 months of neurodiagnostic technology experience or supervised training </li>\n <li>One (1) or more years of clinical neurodiagnostic experience is preferred </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>License(s)/Certification(s):</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Required Upon Hire: \n  <ul>\n   <li>Electro Neurodiagnostic Technician Registry eligible </li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Required within 90 Days of Hire \n  <ul>\n   <li>Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training in state(s) where providing care  </li>\n   <li>Adult Dependent Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training in state(s) where providing care </li>\n   <li>Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification American Heart Association (AHA) </li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>",
