Description

Responsibilities We are seeking a professional to lead the MEP Electrical Infrastructure function within our Real Estate and Construction vertical. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in electrical engineering, coupled with extensive experience in both design and execution of electrical infrastructure projects. Responsibilities Lead end-to-end MEP Electrical Infrastructure design and execution, ensuring quality and timely delivery across project sites. Capable of designing Electrical lighting & power distribution network from power source to end use and ELV & ICT infrastructure for large infrastructure projects from concept to GFC. Perform substation sizing, LT panel room design, cable sizing, voltage drop calculations required for electrical infrastructure projects. Coordinate effectively with clients, vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to drive project success. Manage design development from concept through Tender and GFC stages, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. Conduct technical due diligence for large land parcels in collaboration with power supply companies and other stakeholders. Review and approve contractor shop drawings, material submittals, and as-built documentation. Oversee site inspections, system commissioning, and ensure adherence to project specifications. Facilitate meetings with clients and vendors, ensuring alignment on design intent and execution strategy. Promote sustainable MEP solutions and contribute to cost estimation and budgeting processes. Ensure integration of ELV systems including fiber networks, security systems, and backup power infrastructure. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EC norms, MOEF guidelines, ECBC, NBC 2016, IS codes, and relevant international standards. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. 10–12 years of proven experience in MEP Electrical Infrastructure design and site coordination within the Real Estate/Construction industry. Minimum 6–8 years of experience with design consultants and 4–5 years in project execution. Strong understanding of local power supply norms and MEP design standards. Proficiency in CAD is essential; familiarity with BIM 360, ETAP, and similar tools is an added advantage. Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and deliver high-quality outcomes. Experience in technical due diligence, report preparation, and stakeholder coordination. Knowledge of sustainable design practices and cost estimation methodologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proactive and collaborative team player.
