    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>A Brief Overview</strong>Senior Solution Architect will work with project teams in all phases of software development life cycle to conceptualize, design and implement end-to-end solutions that meet business objectives. Design and architect quality solutions taking into account sound software design concepts, patterns, runtime, non-runtime qualities and industry best practices. Clearly communicate translation of requirements from business and technical sources into technical design direction, using various means including specifications, white boards discussions, UML modeling techniques, etc. Responsible for defining architectural principles, technology standards, industry best practices, architectural governance processes and reusable reference architectures. Responsible for evaluating the current state architecture and defining the future state architecture, transition plan and architectural road maps. Ensure project compliance by establishing right level of governance model. This role will work closely with executives, key departmental management and project stakeholders across the organization. Therefore, the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with all levels of management and staff within the organization is a key priority in this role.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>What you will do</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work with project teams in all phases of software development life cycle to conceptualize, design and implement end-to-end solutions that meet business objectives.</li>\n <li>Design and architect quality solutions taking into account sound software design concepts, patterns, runtime, non-runtime qualities and industry best practices.</li>\n <li>Clearly communicate translation of requirements from business and technical sources into technical design direction, using various means including specifications, UML modeling techniques, etc.</li>\n <li>Development and maintenance of architectural and design artifacts such as context diagrams, conceptual architecture, logical architecture, physical architecture, class diagrams, sequence diagrams, etc.</li>\n <li>Assist in the development of architectural principles, guidelines and technology standards that can be leveraged across the organization.</li>\n <li>Periodically evaluate architectural landscape for efficiencies and define current state, target state architecture and transition plans, road maps to achieve desired architectural state.</li>\n <li>Assist in defining the right level of governance structures such as architecture review board, technology review board and actively participate in governance process to enforce architectural principles, standards and alignment with target and reference architectures.</li>\n <li>Complete proof of concepts to prove new technologies in support of architecture vision and guiding principles.</li>\n <li>Participate in code reviews to ensure code delivered aligns to agreed upon principles, design, etc., and satisfies the stated business need.</li>\n <li>Lead or participate in Enterprise vendor, technology, and tool selection.</li>\n <li>Research industry trends and best practices and develop recommendations of technologies and methods to stakeholders at all levels.</li>\n <li>Provide architectural consultation, support, mentoring, and guidance to project teams, solution architects and developers.</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>\n <li>Complies with all policies and standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's Degree Or equivalent work experience. - Required</li>\n <li>Professional solution architecture experience - Required</li>\n <li>Extensive experience developing architectural models with depth in one or more of the subdisciplines of business architecture, information architecture and application/technical architecture and breadth across all disciplines - Required</li>\n <li>Experience with product evaluations and selection, buy-or-build. - Required</li>\n <li>Experience with multiple programming languages is a plus (C#, Java, .NET and C++). - Preferred</li>\n <li>Experience with IBM Content Management Systems such as FileNet P8 is a plus. - Preferred</li>\n <li>Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and reasoning skills. -</li>\n <li>Ability to clearly communicate complex concepts with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. -</li>\n <li>Strong leadership, interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally. -</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of messaging, MOM, SOA, ESB, and EAI principles and patterns. -</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of Web Services, SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, and interface design. -</li>\n <li>Expertise with a broad base of products, technologies, platforms, patterns, frameworks, and methodologies. -</li>\n <li>Knowledge of technical design documentation methodologies and technologies (Visio, UML, object modeling, etc.). -</li>\n <li>Familiarity with Visualization tools such as Microsoft Visio, PowerPoint. -</li>\n <li>Familiarity with UML modeling tools. -</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Work Setting/Position Demands:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Works in an office setting and remains in a stationary position for long periods of time while working at a desk, on a computer or with other standard office equipment, or while in meetings.</li>\n <li>Requires the ability to verbally communicate and exchange accurate information to customers and associates on a regular basis.</li>\n <li>Requires visual acuity to read and interpret a variety of correspondence, procedures, reports and forms via paper and electronic documents, visual inspection involving small defects; small parts, and/or operation of machinery (including inspection); using measurement devices continuously. Visual acuity is required to determine accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned.</li>\n <li>Requires the ability to prepare written correspondence, reports and forms using prescribed formats and conforming to rules of punctuation, grammar, diction, and style on a regular basis.</li>\n <li>Requires the ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions</li>\n <li>Performs substantial movement of wrists, hands, and fingers for continuous computer work.</li>\n <li>Extended hours required during peak workloads or special projects/events.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Travel Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>None</li>\n</ul>",
