    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p style=\"margin: 5pt 0cm 4pt;\"><strong>Lab, Infrastructure &amp; Automation (primary focus)</strong></p><ul style=\"padding-left: 30.67px;\"><li>Own the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and lifecycle management of the regional laboratory, showroom, and demonstration facilities serving sales and marketing across Latin America.</li><li>Design, deploy, and continuously optimize the lab’s compute, storage, networking, and virtualization fabric for high availability, performance, and security.</li><li>Treat the lab as code: build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code, configuration management, and CI/CD pipelines to provision, version, and tear down repeatable demo and POC environments on demand.</li><li>Automate routine operations: backups, snapshots, patching, environment resets, capacity and energy monitoring, and health checks. Enable tooling to accelerate operations, troubleshooting, and documentation.</li><li>Monitor, troubleshoot, and remediate physical and virtual infrastructure; provide on-site support for cabling, device shipping logistics, and physical safety inspections.</li><li>Maintain accurate, version-controlled documentation of all configurations, topologies, and changes.</li></ul><p style=\"margin: 5pt 0cm 4pt;\"><strong>Pre-Sales &amp; Technical Enablement (supporting focus)</strong></p><ul style=\"padding-left: 30.67px;\"><li>Support strategic pre-sales engagements and key opportunities as a high-level regional technical resource, with emphasis on lab-backed demonstrations and POCs.</li><li>Plan and execute proof-of-concept initiatives, on-site and remotely, using lab infrastructure to validate solution designs against customer requirements.</li><li>Conduct technical meetings, presentations, and demonstrations for customers and partners, and act as a subject-matter expert in design reviews.</li><li>Build demo guides and reusable assets that help field engineers and partners deliver faster, higher-quality demonstrations.</li><li>Work with Product Management and Engineering to surface lab/demo requirements and help qualify features critical to Fortinet’s success.</li><li>Provide training and mentorship to Systems Engineers and partners at regional events and within virtual teams.</li></ul><p style=\"margin: 5pt 0cm 4pt;\"><strong>Teamwork &amp; Operating Cadence</strong></p><ul style=\"padding-left: 30.67px;\"><li>Operate within a distributed team, contribute to internal engineering communities, comply with activity reporting, and communicate proactively with the CSE Manager / Director. Domestic and international travel is required.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Requirements (Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities)</strong></p><p style=\"margin: 5pt 0cm 4pt;\"><strong>Must-have</strong></p><ul style=\"padding-left: 30.67px;\"><li>Years of technical experience in networking, computing, or data-center/lab infrastructure, with a track record of building and operating complex environments.</li><li>Hands-on administration of Windows and Linux, plus virtualization and private-cloud platforms (e.g., VMware vSphere, KVM, or OpenStack), including building and optimizing a virtual data center.</li><li>Scripting and automation: Python and Bash, Infrastructure-as-Code (Ansible, Terraform), Git-based workflows, and comfort working with REST APIs.</li><li>Strong grasp of network infrastructure (switching, routing, BGP/OSPF) and network security enforcement (NGFW/VPN, segmentation, authentication).</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication and documentation skills; able to present to technical and business audiences and manage complex work plans.</li></ul><p style=\"margin: 5pt 0cm 4pt;\"><strong>Bonus</strong></p><ul style=\"padding-left: 30.67px;\"><li>Modern secure access (SD-WAN, SASE, ZTNA), public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), and containers/Kubernetes.</li><li>SIEM/SOAR and observability tooling; traffic generation and validation tools (e.g., Ixia BreakingPoint).</li><li>Familiarity with AI/ML applied to infrastructure operations, observability, and content generation.</li><li>Relevant certifications (Fortinet NSE/FCX/FCSS, CISSP, CISM) or cloud/automation certifications.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Education &amp; Languages</strong></p><ul style=\"padding-left: 30.67px;\"><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.</li><li>English and Spanish required (B2 level or higher); Portuguese a strong plus.</li></ul>",
