    "requisitionDescription": "<div><strong>Teen Youth Development Professional<br><br></strong><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Position Type:&nbsp;</strong>Part-Time (25-29 hours per week), some flexibility available</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Schedule</strong>: Preferred availability includes Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m., and Wednesday and Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; schedule may vary slightly based on Club needs.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Compensation:&nbsp;</strong>$22 - $25/hour</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Deliver high-quality after-school programming for school-age and teen youth, aligned with BGCB&rsquo;s mission and the goals of the organization.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Incorporate youth voice and choice into program planning to ensure relevance, engagement, and ownership.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Oversee program planning, development, and implementation across core areas (e.g., academics, recreation, arts &amp; crafts, and physical education) for elementary and teen youth.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure that members are encouraged to participate in a variety of program areas and activities and receive instruction and constructive feedback to develop skills in the program area(s).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Foster positive behavior and engagement among youth while maintaining a safe, inclusive environment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborate with families, schools, and community partners to ensure youth success.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead programming and maintain consistent youth interaction and ratios.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Continuously evaluate Club programs to ensure they meet member needs and address their gender and cultural diversity.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the facility.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Occasionally, support different Club sites to meet staffing needs.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform other duties as assigned to meet the organization&#39;s evolving needs, including maintaining the site&#39;s smooth operation in the Director&#39;s absence.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">May be required to drive the Club van periodically.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">These responsibilities do not fully encapsulate the scope of the role.
