We offer full service in-house architecture/engineering design capabilities and typically work on a diverse array of projects. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside architects and other engineers across a multitude of project types (theme parks, airports, college campuses, lounges, laboratories, and others). The ideal candidate will have an architectural degree from an accredited program. Licensure is preferred but not required.</p><p>General duties and responsibilities:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Work independently on architectural design projects, and coordinate work with other disciplines</li><li>Direct planning and creative design processes, as well as preparation of design drawings/details</li><li>Demonstrate strong ethics, teamwork, and client relationship management.</li></ul><p>Project Management</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Deliver projects that meet contractual obligations, schedule, and financial goals.</li><li>Ensure project quality and client satisfaction throughout all phases.</li></ul><p>Programming &amp; Analysis (Pre-Design)</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Research and evaluate client requirements, building codes, zoning regulations, and site data.</li><li>Develop recommendations on project feasibility under the guidance of a licensed Architect.</li></ul><p>Project Planning &amp; Design (Schematic Design)</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Layout building designs, review codes and regulations, and coordinate schematics with consultants.</li><li>Communicate design concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders.</li><li>Work closely with an Architect during this phase.</li></ul><p>Project Development &amp; Documentation</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Prepare and coordinate detailed construction documents for permitting and bidding.</li><li>Produce comprehensive drawings and specifications, including:</li><li>Site, floor, and roof plans</li><li>Reflected ceiling plans</li><li>Elevations, sections, and details</li><li>Door, window, and finish schedules</li><li>Building envelope and material systems selections</li></ul><p>Construction Administration &amp; Evaluation</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Participate in on-site construction administration, including meetings with clients, contractors, and building officials.</li><li>Support punch lists, RFIs, and project closeout activities under the supervision of an Architect.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>5&ndash;10 years of substantial experience developing architectural details and providing planning and design support during design development.</li><li>Experience gained through full-time employment under the supervision of a licensed Architect or Interior Designer.</li><li>Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited program (Associate&rsquo;s, Bachelor of Architecture, or Master of Architecture).</li><li>Architectural licensure preferred.</li><li>Understanding of design and construction documents.</li><li>Proficiency in REVIT.</li><li>Knowledge of building codes.</li><li>Self-starter with a proactive attitude</li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines</li></ul><p><strong>Estimated Compensation Range and Benefits</strong></p><p><strong>$95,000<strong>&nbsp;- $110,000/year*</strong></strong></p><p><em>*Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.</em></p><p>Learn about our comprehensive <a href=\"https://www.cscos.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Comprehensive-Benefits_2024_rev.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Benefits</a></p><p><strong>WHO WE ARE:</strong> C&amp;S Companies is a national planning, design, and construction firm with more than 600 employees and growing.
