That's why this opportunity is available as either a <strong>W-2 employed position with full benefits or a 1099 independent contractor role with competitive salary.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Our opportunity provides:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Flexible scheduling 2-5 days a week</li>\n <li>6 weeks vacation time / 46 working weeks per year</li>\n <li>Overtime after 9 hours paid at $250 an hour for both W-2 and 1099</li>\n <li>No nights/no weekends/no holidays</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide a safe, high-quality anesthesia administration in a modern ASC setting including patient monitoring, airway management, and pain management</li>\n <li>Confident in emergency response and crisis management in the perioperative setting</li>\n <li>Values collaboration, transparency, and high-quality patient care</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Skills:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills</li>\n <li>Detail-oriented in maintaining patient-related information and documenting patient progress</li>\n <li>Exceptional patient interaction demonstrating a friendly, approachable demeanor, effectively resolves customer complaints, and applies strong customer service principles to ensure a positive experience</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Certificates, Licenses, Registrations</strong></p>\n<p>Maintains necessary certification, licensure, hospital privileges</p>\n<p>Current CPR certification, ACLS, PALS, and BLS are required</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Education</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or a Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice (DNAP)</li>\n <li>Must be accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA)</li>\n <li>Pass the National Certification Examination (NCE) administered by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)</li>\n <li>State licensure in Indiana as a CRNA</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>About The South Bend Clinic:</strong></p>\n<p>In 1916, Dr. Walter Baker, a South Bend surgeon, was inspired by a visit to the Mayo Clinic and returned to South Bend to establish The South Bend Clinic with five other specialists.
