Self-inspects and double-checks! </li>\n <li>Notifies supervisor or Guest Reception Desk as appropriate when service is complete so that rooms may be sold and occupied. </li>\n <li>Reports any rooms unable to be serviced within established time standards to supervisor. </li>\n <li>Reports needs repairs, non-functioning or missing equipment or room items to supervisor or others as instructed by departmental standards. </li>\n <li>Maintains linen carts and/or closets in a neat, clean and orderly manner in accordance with departmental standards. Maintains Par Levels of supplies in assigned area; reports needs to supervisor before critical shortages occur. </li>\n <li>Maintains security of equipment, keys and supplies at all time. </li>\n <li>Reports lost and found items immediately to Manager. </li>\n <li>Maintains a productivity level not to exceed 30 minutes per room serviced. </li>\n <li>Follows any procedures for team cleaning or self-inspection programs in place.</li>\n <li>Responds quickly and courteously to guest requests. </li>\n <li>Follows all company/department policies and procedures, Standard Operating Procedures. </li>\n <li>Thoroughly familiar with all related HAZCOM information and Emergency Procedures; MSDS for any chemicals in use, Blood Borne Pathogen prevention and response. Follows all Safety handling procedures. </li>\n <li>Presents a professional image at all times through appearance and behavior. </li>\n <li>Actively participates in all hotel meetings, training, task forces, programs,  etc. </li>\n <li>Protect and preserve assets of the HCCTR</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>BRING US YOUR BEST.</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to follow verbal directions and organize the work day as required</li>\n <li>Must qualify for licensing with the West Virginia Racing Commission.</li>\n <li>Must be able to express hospitality, either in verbal or through expression to guests and fellow employees</li>\n <li>Since cleaning is the major responsibility of this position, Room Attendants spend a significant portion of their workday involved in the following: stooping, squatting, walking, unlocking, opening, pushing, pulling, lifting, bending and stretching. </li>\n <li>The vast majority of the time is spent moving about the property in order to clean guest rooms, and this is usually accomplished by walking. </li>\n <li>Communication skills are necessary some of the time in order to interact with hotel guests or staff. </li>\n <li>In addition to operating a vacuum cleaner, Room Attendants typically lift and pull items weighing as much as 25 pounds and pull/ push up to 200 pounds. </li>\n <li>Room Attendants will have the opportunity to used problem-solving abilities in a limited capacity. </li>\n <li>Able to see and recognize safety and security hazards and concerns and report or correct them. </li>\n <li>The person in this position has some opportunities to utilize problem-solving abilities.</li>\n <li>The noise level in the work environment can vary from quiet to somewhat noisy.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>STAY IN THE GAME.
