          "text": "<p><strong>PURPOSE</strong></p><p>The Information Technology organization is moving to a modern, cloud-first, automation-driven model. This Cloud Engineering role advances Infrastructure as Code (IaC), platform standardization, and scalable Azure architecture across the enterprise.</p><p>This position designs, builds, and improves secure, reliable, repeatable cloud platforms and services. It emphasizes automation, engineering discipline, and reusable patterns to reduce operational overhead and speed consistent infrastructure delivery.</p><p>The role will help shift the team from traditional cloud operations to a Cloud/Platform Engineering model, primarily focused on Microsoft Azure, while supporting a multi-cloud model.</p><p><strong>DUTIES</strong></p><ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure using an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) first approach, with Terraform as the strategic provisioning tool.</li></ul><ul><li>Build and manage modular, reusable Terraform codebases aligned to enterprise standards, enabling scalable and repeatable deployments.</li><li>Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment, ensuring automated testing, validation, and promotion across environments.</li><li>Define and implement cloud architecture standards, reference patterns, and guardrails to ensure consistency, scalability, and governance.</li><li>Implement and manage Azure services including compute, storage, networking, identity, and data services using automated provisioning frameworks.</li><li>Partner with application, security, and data teams to enable secure-by-default and compliant cloud solutions aligned to healthcare regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA).</li><li>Establish and enforce policy-as-code and governance frameworks (e.g., Azure Policy, RBAC, cost management practices).</li><li>Continuously improve platform reliability, performance, and cost efficiency through monitoring, optimization, and automation.</li><li>Contribute to the evolution of the team toward a DevOps and platform engineering culture, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.</li><li>Provide technical leadership and guidance in evaluating new tools, services, and architectural approaches.</li><li>Support incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement of cloud operations.</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p>",

          "text": "<p>Qualifications</p><p><em>Required Experience and Competencies</em></p><ul><li>Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, or platform engineering in a mid-to-large enterprise environment.</li><li>Proven experience designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code solutions at scale (preferably Terraform).</li><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and architecture.</li><li>Experience building and managing automated deployment pipelines (CI/CD) for infrastructure and/or applications.</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><p><em>Preferred Experience and Competencies</em></p><ul><li>Deep expertise in Azure services including compute, networking, storage, identity (Azure AD), and security services.</li><li>Experience with modern cloud engineering practices, including GitOps, immutable infrastructure, and environment standardization.</li><li>Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.</li><li>Experience with cloud governance frameworks, security controls, and compliance requirements, ideally within healthcare or regulated environments.</li><li>Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights).</li><li>Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, AKS) is a plus.</li><li>Strong understanding of networking concepts, identity and access management, and security architecture in cloud environments.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment, driving continuous improvement and adopting new technologies.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.</li><li>Strong problem-solving mindset with an emphasis on automation, scalability, and engineering rigor.</li></ul><ul></ul><p>&#xa0;</p>",
