Assists patient with disrobing if necessary.</li><li>Assist physician with exam of patient. Obtain samples for the patient or other supplies that are needed during the visit.</li><li>Answers patient questions if possible, refers others to the physician.</li><li>Cleans rooms between patients, changing table paper and cleaning tables and counter tops etc. as necessary.</li><li>Sets up rooms for procedures with the designated instruments and sterile field. Explains procedure to patient and obtains informed consent. Provides wound care instructions to patient after procedure.</li><li>Logs in and out all pathology specimens and orders for other lab work</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>MAINTENANCE</strong></p><ul><li>Transports used instruments from room to instrument maintenance area, keeping safety standards in mind. Cleans instruments, wraps appropriately, and autoclaves.</li><li>Checks rooms at end of day to make certain they are stocked for the next day.</li><li>Maintains inventory of medical and surgical supplies and places orders appropriately.</li><li>Keeps nursing station in order, making certain that all expired medications are appropriately discarded. Calls pharmaceutical representatives for more samples when needed.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>OTHER</strong></p><ol start=\"1\"><li><p>Bilingual ( can translate from Spanish to English) Preferred</p></li><li><p>Keep the exam rooms tidy, organized and stocked up with medical supplies</p></li><li><p>Greet patients, show them to exam rooms, take medical histories, and document the patients chief complaint or reason for visit prior to seeing the provider.</p></li><li><p>Enter information about the patients&#39; visit and recommendations for care into ModMed.</p></li><li><p>Inform provider of requests for prescription refills.&nbsp;</p></li><li><p>Make sure that the biopsy reports that come in the mail are uploaded to the patients&#39;s account on Modmed and inform the provider immediately of the results, especially if the results are in red. (usually SCC or BCC etc.)</p></li><li><p>Prepare syringes for Kenalog and Lidocaine.</p></li><li><p>Update inventory for medical supplies.</p></li><li><p>Fill in for receptionist when necessary.</p></li></ol></div>\n    </div>\n  </div>\n",
