    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Nemours is seeking a Medical Assistant (Primary Care, Horizon West), FULL-TIME, to join our Primary Care team in&nbsp;Windermere, Florida.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p>\n<p>Nemours is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to join our Primary Care Department. The MA is an important liaison between the patient/family, provider, and other care team members. The MA is responsible for coordinating patient flow by assisting in clinical data collection and review for patient intake, ensuring the appropriate information is available to the provider, and entering pertinent history in the medical record. The MA performs and assists with clinical procedures in accordance with divisional/department responsibilities as directed by the provider and per protocol.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Nemours primary care practices provide a kid-friendly, family-centered pediatric primary care experience for families in Central Florida. With 19 primary care and three urgent care practices conveniently located throughout the region, we provide quality, professional pediatric services with special attention on preventive care and whole-child wellness.</p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Medical Assistant I:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Entry-level position.</li>\n <li>Completion of a certified Medical Assistant program is preferred.</li>\n <li>MA Certification preferred (see below)</li>\n <li>Acceptable certifications are Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) and Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA).</li>\n <li>American Heart Association BLS Certification within 90 days of hire date.</li>\n <li>Basic clinical and administrative skills.</li>\n <li>Travel to other locations may be required.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>No prior experience required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What We Offer&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive base compensation in the top quartile of the market</li>\n <li>Annual incentive compensation that values clinical activity, academic accomplishments and quality improvement</li>\n <li>Comprehensive benefits: health, life, dental, vision</li>\n <li>403B with employer match</li>\n <li>Licensure, CME and dues allowance</li>\n <li>Not-for-profit status; eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness</li>\n <li>For those living and working in Florida, enjoy the benefit of no state income tax.
