    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Description:</span></p>\n<p>LTL Group has been providing heavy civil construction services in Northern Ontario<br>with a dedicated team of knowledgeable and experienced staff.</p>\n<p>With our comprehensive range of services, we can provide integrated solutions for any project requirements.</p>\n<p>LTL Contracting is looking to hire a Site Supervisor</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Organize and coordinate day to day project operations and field staff</li>\n<li>Plan and schedule work with operations for available resources to meet client needs</li>\n<li>Ensure work is completed according to plans, standards and specifications</li>\n<li>Track and submit quantities for invoicing</li>\n<li>Proactively communicate and coordinate daily/as needed with GC/owner staff, suppliers and engineering re: scope of work, equipment needed to complete jobs and problem solve</li>\n<li>Trouble shoot field issues on-site to maintain workflow and meet deliverables</li>\n<li>Ensure sufficient data obtained and documented through life of the contract to substantiate contractor's progress and final payment certificates</li>\n<li>Obtain and maintain up to date and accurate utility locates</li>\n<li>Prepare job sheets for field staff</li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned by your senior manager</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Qualifications</p>\n<ul>\n<li>5-10 years progressive experience in the heavy civil construction industry</li>\n<li>Previous supervisory experience</li>\n<li>Must be able to work independently and in a team</li>\n<li>Must have strong communication, time management, scheduling and negotiation skills</li>\n<li>Able to multi task and sustain productivity over long hours in a fast paced environment</li>\n<li>Working knowledge of MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook etc.</li>\n<li>Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license</li>\n<li>Candidates must be open to working as per project requirements (weekends etc) and out of town when required</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Job Type: Full-time</p>\n<p>Benefits:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dental care</li>\n<li>Extended health care</li>\n<li>Vision care</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Ability to commute/relocate:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to reliably commute to various project sites throughout Northwestern Ontario.</li>\n<li>Willingness to travel and stay out of town as required by project needs.</li>\n<li>Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.</li>\n</ul>",
