This is a high-impact role where your technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and initiative will directly shape the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">If you are a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving complex technical challenges, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working alongside a dependable and skilled team.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>What You&rsquo;ll Do</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, managing, securing, and optimizing Colville&rsquo;s IT environment across multiple locations. Your responsibilities will include:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Managing user accounts and access across enterprise systems including Microsoft, Oracle, SAGE, Eagle POS, and Epicor</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Supporting and maintaining operating systems and core application environments</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Installing, configuring, and optimizing servers, backups, switches, access points, and firewalls</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Monitoring and maintaining enterprise systems across network, endpoint, and cloud environments</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Managing hardware and software licensing and ensuring compliance</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Providing escalated support and assisting with help desk triage as needed</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Identifying, investigating, and responding to cybersecurity threats using tools such as SIEM, EDR/XDR, NAC, and IDPS</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Applying and coordinating security patches while minimizing operational impact</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Supporting backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Troubleshooting and maintaining network infrastructure including firewalls and VPNs</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Managing and supporting networked storage systems</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborating with vendors and internal teams to support operational needs</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Evaluating and implementing new technologies to improve system performance, scalability, and security</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Traveling occasionally to Colville locations including Anchorage, Fairbanks, Prudhoe Bay, and Valdez</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Performs other related duties as assigned to support business operations.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>What You Bring</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">We are looking for an experienced IT professional with strong engineering fundamentals and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Required)</strong></li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">5+ years of experience in systems administration or IT engineering roles solving complex technical challenges</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong experience with virtual environments and cloud infrastructure</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Hands-on experience with Windows-based environments, Epicor, and Oracle systems</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Familiarity with infrastructure hardware such as servers, UPS systems, and Fortinet devices</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Working knowledge of network hardware, protocols, and configuration</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience managing and troubleshooting storage systems</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong ability to analyze problems and implement effective, scalable solutions aligned with best practices</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience supporting enterprise IT environments and diverse user groups</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams and locations</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with scripting, version control, and documentation of technical work</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Professional, team-oriented approach with a focus on reliability and accountability</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with Microsoft Exchange, SQL Server, and Windows Server administration</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Microsoft certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, or Microsoft 365 Certified Administrator</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Why Colville?</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">At Colville, we operate in some of the most unique and demanding environments in Alaska, and our success depends on the strength of our people.
