    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a <strong>DevSecOps Engineer (Mid-Level)</strong> to support the U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) Integrated Booking System (IBS) program. This role supports secure, automated software delivery through CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and security integration.We are looking for an engineer who enjoys building reliable systems and improving developer workflows. You will help maintain and evolve GitLab-based CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes environments, and security integrations.The IBS technology stack includes Angular (TypeScript) and Java (Spring Boot), and this role requires familiarity with these technologies to support build, deployment, and troubleshooting activities.</p>\n<h2>Duties & Responsibilities</h2>\n<h2>CI/CD Automation & Build Systems</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Support design, maintenance, and improvement of GitLab CI/CD pipelines</li>\n <li>Optimize workflows to improve build reliability and speed</li>\n <li>Promote reusable pipeline patterns across teams</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Container Orchestration & Deployment</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Support Kubernetes deployments using Helm</li>\n <li>Maintain stable environments across development, test, and production</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot containerized workloads and environment issues</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Security & Quality Tooling</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Execute and interpret Fortify, SonarQube, and similar scans</li>\n <li>Collaborate with developers to triage findings</li>\n <li>Integrate security into pipelines without disrupting delivery</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Cross-Team Collaboration</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Partner with Angular and Java teams to improve workflows</li>\n <li>Communicate clearly on issues, risks, and improvements</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Documentation & Enablement</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop runbooks, documentation, and system diagrams</li>\n <li>Support onboarding and knowledge sharing</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Continuous Improvement</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Contribute to DevSecOps improvements across automation and security</li>\n <li>Evaluate tools with focus on simplicity and effectiveness</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Active Secret Clearance</li>\n <li>IAT Level II certification (CompTIA Security+ CE required)</li>\n <li>3–5 years of DevOps/DevSecOps experience</li>\n <li>Experience with GitLab CI/CD</li>\n <li>Strong Linux and Bash scripting skills</li>\n <li>Familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of Fortify, SonarQube, or similar tools</li>\n <li>Familiarity with Angular (TypeScript) and Java (Spring Boot)</li>\n <li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills</li>\n <li>Strong communication and documentation skills</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Preferred</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience supporting DoD systems</li>\n <li>Familiarity with DISA STIGs and RMF requirements</li>\n <li>Experience with AWS or cloud environments</li>\n <li>Experience with CI-integrated testing and quality gates</li>\n <li>Experience supporting release and deployment processes</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Our Equal Employment Opportunity Policy</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>EEO and Affirmative Action Policy:</strong> DecisionPoint Corporation is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
