    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Main Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p>Provide direct input to the Simultaneous Development Team (SDT) by doing the following:<br>\n 1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Provide manufacturing feasibility assessments for product design, engineering changes, scope changes and quality concerns.<br>\n 2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Develop process flow and plant layout requirements.<br>\n 3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Review product gaging and packaging strategies and assess the impact of those assumptions on the overall manufacturing strategy.<br>\n 4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Define capital equipment and tooling required and maintain adherence to the budget of the program.<br>\n 5.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Project manage the procurement and acceptance of required equipment &amp; tooling.<br>\n 6.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Facilitate the implementation of production equipment/tooling into the manufacturing facility and any corresponding technical training.</p>\n<p>7.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Complete Process FMEA and manage RPN risks.<br>\n 8.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Assess the product, process, equipment and tooling strategies for potential ergonomic concerns and manage action items to resolve.<br>\n 9.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Support customer part needs through pilot, testing, run-at-rate and internal process sign offs.<br>\n 10.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Create and support continuous improvement projects.<br>\n &nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Requirement</strong><br>\n Education/Major&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Bachelors of Science Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering, Plastics or Engineering Technology required (BSME or BSMET or similar)</p>\n<p><br><strong>Work Experience&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering advanced manufacturing, process engineering, tooling, or similar</p>\n<p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Experience in Automotive/Manufacturing (Tier One Automotive interiors experience preferred, not required)<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Candidates must demonstrate solid skills in communication, interpersonal relations, and ability to inspire individuals to improve performance.<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Candidate must have experience communicating at multiple levels internally and externally<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Mechanical aptitude and analytical problem solving<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Work flow, line balance and takt time<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Experience with AutoCAD, PLC Programming, and Automation&nbsp;<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Leadership of DOE and data driven studies experience&nbsp;<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Six Sigma, Lean, Continuous Improvement training or experience<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Candidates must demonstrate technical and project management skills<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Familiar with entire product life including development, launch and production.<br>\n •&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Understands and demonstrates the ability to work with and improve documented manufacturing standards.</p>\n<p><strong>Language Skills Required: English (Fluency with Reading, Writing, Speaking)&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Job Qualifications</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Assembly &amp; CSW:</strong><br>\n • Welding (Vibration, IR, Sonic, Hot Plate, Heatstake) &nbsp;&nbsp;<br>\n • Vision systems &nbsp; &nbsp;<br>\n • Equipment design and build &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<br>\n • Automated adhesive spray &nbsp;&nbsp;<br>\n • Robotic automation &nbsp;<br>\n • Lean manufacturing implementation &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;<br>\n • Press lamination<br>\n • Punching &nbsp; &nbsp;<br>\n • Automated edgewrap &nbsp; &nbsp;<br>\n • Shop floor controls<br><br>\n &nbsp;<strong>Others:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </strong>Successful candidates must have the ability to travel within North America and abroad to meet launch requirements. &nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Work Environment</strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Often exposed to distracting sounds and noisy conditions.
