    "description": "<p>The Apprentice Technician is under the supervision of the Area Manager of each job site and will report to lead<br>foreman or manager depending on which division the apprentice is assigned. Apprentices help the victims of disasters such as fire, flood, mold, or other events by performing the duties below in the Contents, Mitigation, and Repair Division to help restore people's homes or businesses.</p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:</span></p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">CONTENTS:</span><br>• Packing, loading, &amp; transport <br>• Disassembly and reassembly <br>• Mitigation services (Packouts) <br>• Dry and wet cleaning <br>• Inventorying and chain of custody <br>• Deodorization (ozone, foggers, etc.) <br>• Ambient air filtration <br>• Removing and disposing of debris <br>• Fire and Water Contents Cleaning <br>• Cleaning and Organizing Warehouse <br>• Tile Cleaning and Resealing<br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">MITIGATION: </span><br>• Controlled demolition<br>• Baseboard &amp; carpet cushion removal <br>• Carpet seam cutting<br>• Removing and disposing of debris<br>• Carpet Protection<br>• Water pumping and extraction <br>• Mold remediation<br>• Specialty drying (hardwood, plaster, etc.)<br>• Vapor Barrier<br>• Setting drying equipment<br>• Constructing polyethylene enclosures<br>• Containment construction and maintenance<br>• Dry-Tracking<br>• Moisture Mapping<br>• Taking Moisture Readings<br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">REPAIRS: </span><br>• Drywall Installation<br>• Painting<br>• Cabinet Installation<br>• Controlled demolition<br>• Baseboard &amp; carpet cushion removal<br>• Setting doors and Windows<br>• Drywall Installation<br>• Trim Finish Work<br>• Insulation<br>• Flooring Installation<br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">CUSTOMER SERVICE:</span><br>• Independently, professionally, &amp; quickly respond to incoming calls per script protocol for Elite &amp; PBC<br>• Input information into DASH as needed for Elite Restoration Jobs<br>• Accurate messaging/ transferring of incoming calls to appropriate party (Name, Reason for calling, Contact info, ETC.)<br>• Provide administrative support to managers/estimators/technicians<br>• Job Close-Out documents<br>• Certificate of Completion Waivers: These are to be signed and uploaded in DASH</p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:</span><br>• Communicate professionally with customers, subcontractors, and insurance companies to ensure issues are dealt with quickly and effectively<br>• Vehicle safety and maintenance inspections <br>• Maintaining vehicles in clean, serviceable condition<br>• Residential, Commercial, and Multi-Family Reconstruction Projects <br>• Maintaining equipment<br>• Other duties as assigned</p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Work Environment:</span><br>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
