The Team Leader provides technical expertise above the craft level, oversees schedule compliance, and partners closely with planning, operations, and reliability teams. Through effective communication, coaching, and continuous improvement practices, this position drives engagement, develops team capability, and supports SQRE performance across the site.\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p> <strong>Stewardship – Engages team for zero incident culture</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Creates safety culture within Maintenance teams on proactive hazard recognition and facilitation of safe work execution.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Quality – Ensures work quality (right the first time)</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provides oversight for quality on repairs (minimizes rework)</li>\n <li>Holds team accountable for quality repairs and procedure adherence</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Engagement – Creates an environment for teaching, coaching and learning</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Advocates for both company and team needs</li>\n <li>Works with others to solve problems and develop skills – stay in compliance</li>\n <li>Balances urgency with long term repairs and follow up</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Production/Reliability – Work Execution</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provides technical expertise level above craft</li>\n <li>Manages work schedule compliance</li>\n <li>Integrates central and core maintenance</li>\n <li>Facilitates failure analysis and provides support on potential issues that could compromise the CORE principles</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Strategy – Implements maintenance plans</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ownership of weekly schedule – provides input and feedback</li>\n <li>Manages Area planner and ensure quality job plans are being developed</li>\n <li>Manages multi-craft fully functional teams</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Communication – Effective communication to key stakeholders</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Communicates progress, needs, and gaps to partners and stakeholders</li>\n <li>Provides updates on KPI’s</li>\n <li>Escalates issues that can’t be solved with base resources regarding key activities of SQRE</li>\n <li>Shares and facilitates best practices between units and/or sites</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma</li>\n <li>Associate's degree a plus.</li>\n <li>Machinist / Millwright experience a plus</li>\n <li>5+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanic</li>\n <li>2+ years of experience in a team lead role – external candidates</li>\n <li>Knowledge of and experience with continuous improvement practices</li>\n <li>Ability to build partnerships to achieve common goals</li>\n <li>Ability to gather trust and confidence of others through honesty, integrity and authenticity</li>\n <li>Ability to work efficiently, plan and prioritize to meet common goals</li>\n</ul>",
