This role helps to <span>ensure applications meet agreed acceptance criteria, including robust integrations with AI services throughout the end-to-end delivery of the service\" should please be replaced with \"They ensure applications meet agreed acceptance criteria, and collaborate with Operations teams to ensure successful end-to-end delivery of their services</span>.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Location...</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We welcome applications from candidates based in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Bracknell, Berkshire. </span></p>\n<p><br>This is an office-based vacancy and as such we expect all applicants to be willing to relocate or commute to our offices a minimum of 3-4 days per week as per our hybrid working policy. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for: </span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p>Development</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Write code in appropriate languages, principally c#.</li>\n<li>Design the architecture of new application components and achieve internal sign off for development specifications where required.</li>\n<li>Work within an Agile team to develop applications to meet product/customer requirements.</li>\n<li>Thoroughly test new features or developments to make sure they perform the desired task correctly in all cases.</li>\n<li>Work with Quality Assurance teams/processes to validate builds ready for launch.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Maintenance &amp; improvement</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Problem solve and fix bugs as discovered/reported.</li>\n<li>Perform ongoing maintenance or upgrade of the platform as required, following internal change procedures at all times.</li>\n<li>Peer review colleague’s work.</li>\n<li>Share ideas and work on projects for improving applications, process or the wider platform.</li>\n<li>Review projects/deployments and learn lessons to improve future performance.</li>\n<li>Design and pilot prototype applications where required.</li>\n<li>Stay up to date with software development trends and technological advancements. Learn and test new technologies, frameworks and languages as relevant.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The successful candidate will demonstrate:</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM, Computer Science or related subject, preferably from a Russell Group University.</li>\n<li>3 + years minimum experience working in a Software Development position. </li>\n<li>Good experience of developing commercial projects/applications in C#.</li>\n<li>Good experience in SQL and using relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server.</li>\n<li>Experience in source control, in particular Git.</li>\n<li>Experience working within an Agile environment, in particular Scrum, and applying supporting practices.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">I</span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">n addition any experience in the following would be beneficial:-</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge and experience working to OWASP ASVS or equivalent application security standards.</li>\n<li><span>Experience of .NET Core recent versions</span>.</li>\n<li>Experience of Javascript, Typescript and associated frameworks and libraries, in particular React.js.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the Company:</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p>Content Guru is the largest privately owned provider of Contact Centre as a Service (CCaaS) in Europe.
