    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>ADJUNCT BUSINESS FACULTY (MBA Program)</strong></p><p><strong>Bethany College, Lindsborg, Kansas</strong></p><p>Adjunct faculty members are sought to teach within our MBA Program, <strong><u>in person</u></strong> in Lindsborg, Kansas.</p><p>A student-centered approach to teaching is required. The primary responsibilities are to teach graduate-level courses within the business discipline.&nbsp;</p><p>The following courses require instructors, meet once per week, and are scheduled for the <strong>Spring 2026 semester:</strong></p><ul><li>BU401 Ethics and the Law: Business and Society</li><li>BU404 Management Information Systems</li><li>BU609 Managerial Finance</li><li>BU610 Strategic Planning</li></ul><p>This position resides within the Division of Business, Professional Schools. The division provides graduate education in business administration, culminating in a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree. All adjunct faculty members shall support the Bethany College Mission.&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Job Requirements:</u></strong></p><p>Ph.D. or terminal degree in related business curriculum preferred; ABD, or MBA with teaching and/or professional business experience will be considered.&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Conduct class sessions as scheduled.</li><li>Highly motivated, works well both independently and in a team environment. &nbsp;</li><li>Functional knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, and Canvas LMS. &nbsp;</li><li>Willingness to adapt to a changing technological environment, and competent in electronic mail and document management. &nbsp;</li><li>Maintain current, accurate records of course enrollment, grades, and attendance.</li><li>Observe and evaluate student performance in meeting course objectives and student learning outcomes through assignments, facilitating students&rsquo; learning by designing lessons, presentations, discussions, classroom field experiences, projects, and appropriate assessments.&nbsp;</li><li>Distribute syllabi that fulfill the course requirements, and select appropriate course-related materials.</li><li>Assign and provide feedback for in- and out-of-class work; monitor student progress.</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Perform related duties as assigned, including communicating with the department chair(s).&nbsp;</li></ul><p>The statements contained herein describe the scope of the responsibility and essential functions of this position, but should not be considered to be an all-inclusive listing of work requirements.&nbsp;</p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><u>Application Process</u></strong></p><p>Interested candidates should submit:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Curriculum vitae</li></ul><p>Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
