Territory Manager (Florida): The Territory Manager is responsible for projecting and achieving sales targets in units and revenue within assigned territories. This person will work with a diverse set of customers within the Cardiac Surgery Hospital setting - Surgeons, Residents and Fellows, Supply Chain, Anesthesiologists, and Surgical Personnel. Primary products include both capital and disposables used in cardiac aortic and mitral valve surgery. They must be able to help identify, develop and close new sales opportunities. They will advise on and execute business strategies and be adaptable to revisions in order to deliver results. The incumbent will have recent exposure to the clinical field and/or experience with the sales of medical devices to deliver quality service and OR support in the field to our Clients. The Territory Manager is an expert at maintaining amicable relations with current clients, as well as growing accounts in the assigned territories. Candidates are preferred to reside in South Florida and available to travel between Orlando, Tampa and/or Miami. Compensation: Annual Base Salary ranges from $90,000-115,000 USD with potential OTE $225,000 USD. Variable Compensation Plan Benefits and 401k matching The determination of final compensation considers factors that include, but are not limited to: relevant education, experience, skills, and geographic location. Essential Functions: Maintain amicable relations with clients and grow new accounts. Communicate and provide guidance to clients regarding use of products. Achieve sales targets in units and revenue as well as price targets. Evaluate market situation in assigned territory on a continuous basis, and report market data and trends on a regular basis to management. Establish and achieve sales forecast and budget. Execute promotional programs (i.e., symposia, seminars) aimed at achieving district sales objectives. Propose sales targets, strategies and forecasting to management on a regular basis and present written reports and recommendations. Develop and propose promotional programs (i.e., symposia, seminars) aimed at achieving territory sales objectives. Collaborate with company staff and other resources to maximize business opportunities, while maintaining territory spending within approved limits. Project and maintain professional company image and presence within assigned territory with regular and frequent customer visits, presence at trade shows, surgeon plant visits, etc. Propose and maintain consignment inventories consistent with company policies. Provide timely monthly sales reports, expense reports, account profiles, and other company reports as required. Responsible for contracts and collection of receivables on all sales in territory. Update the sales database on a continuous basis to maintain the reliability and validity of the data. Compile required reports and give customer presentations. Must be working towards or have achieved Clinical Trainer Certification on all products. Assist management with other assignments as required. Act as a resource for fellow Associate Sales Representatives Manage territory expense budget. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Excellent interpersonal skills. Proven ability to work with minimal supervision and support other employees A role model with Professional conduct as it relates to proper business attire, communication, and servicing of customers. Ability to articulate and develop professional relationships with hospital staff. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Skilled with Office 365 and Microsoft suite products. Proficient with spreadsheet, graphics, word processing and other company software. Shown ability to sell products that require physician behavior change and disruptive technology. Ability to achieve targeted results in a multi-level hospital selling environment (C-Suite, Purchasing, Physicians, Nurses). Clinical knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology. Ability to travel 75% or whenever necessary. Education and Experience: Minimum 3 years of successful selling experience in cardiovascular or related medical devices.
