We are the largest harbor services organization for the past two decades, offering a diverse range of services including cargo handling, storage, and logistics solutions. Job Purpose: Team Member - Operations manages day-to-day operations in Harbour, including vessel movements, cargo handling, and equipment maintenance. They ensure compliance with safety regulations, assist in documentation and customer service. Responsibilities Most important contribution and outcome needed from the position: • Inventory Management - Ascertain adherence to SOPs and guidelines for store management, inventory control and scrap management. Ensure availability of spares and consumables items including management of MRP. Timely delivery of consumables and stores on board tugs and crafts Assist in implementation of standard systems/templates/ processes for inventory management • Store Management - Manage inbound material receipts and maintain accurate documentation for procured and delivered materials. Monitor inventory shelf life and assist in classifying items based on criticality and movement status (e.g., SMI, NMI) • Material Issuance and Deployment: Monitor the issuance of materials to end-users and ensure timely updates to inventory levels. Maintain accurate records in SAP, including details of material issues, procurement, and inventory transactions. • Quality Assurance: Oversee the adherence to IMS standards across all purchasing, storage, and billing operations, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance. • Risk Management: Assist in identifying and prioritizing all risks for stores, inventory control, liquidation and disposal Responsible for updating the category risk register • 100% adherence to disposal of hazardous items & Pyro techniques as per PESO / DG Shipping guidelines • Co-ordinating with Internal and external stakeholders for material smooth movement of materials from port for Outward /Inward movements complying port norms. Effective communications with End users, Team members, Vendors, Buyers, Security personal Transporters, Tugs staff, central stores in day-to-day store activities. Primary Responsibilities • Quarterly self-Audit of A class inventory with 0 zero variation in physical & SAP • Returnable gate pass every quarterly reviewed and close the same before return date. • Assisting in delivering material in the Floating Dry Dock project at Marine. • Timely shift scrap materials and handover to stores. • To communicate with vendors, buyers, Transporters, for timely delivery of materials. • To carry out Internal/External Audit of sub store. • co-ordinate with vendors/buyers to supply materials against purchase orders. • Arrange materials from stores/Substore and send to required marine sites for operations / maintenance for regular use & emergency breakdowns. • Co-ordinate with central stores for RGP / NRGP creation. • Arrange Housekeeping/ galley/ stationery / Linen items for Tugs • Keep all the acknowledged documents from Tugs and keep in record. • Arrangement of Local/external Transporter for arrangement of material loading / unloading and send to required departments/sites. • To maintain record for all the acknowledgement documents received from end user/Tugs/Sites. • Arrange materials for SPM O&M from stores Co-ordinate with SPM team. Secondary Responsibilities • To maintain 5S at sub store. • Carry out store’s functions at optimum cost, satisfying customer requirements & Stakeholder's interest i.e. to achieve Customer Satisfaction (Tugs/SPM/Marine jetty) • To train & guide to sub-ordinates in their routine work at sub store/site Locations. • Review and update MRP items Minmaxer Qty through portal MRP Master data. • To carry out the high value and critical spares materials with Proper Packing and 100 % Binning of materials at sub store. • Safety & security check & general maintenance of Sub store. • Timely co-ordinates with internal department for general maintenance of sub store. • Timely collections of scrap from end users i.e. Tugs/Sites RORO jetty, Tug berths / sub store and hand over to stores with email photos and reservation. Keep record of all the scrap hand over to stores. • To maintain record of All the Test Certificates, Reservations, challan copies for Entire department and produce on requirement to end users. • Timely arrange materials from stores/sub store stores During the Tugs Drydock, Major/minor overhauling, Sailing and send on board with acknowledgement of Tugs Staff. • Arrange Transit Insurance with co-ordination with stores and provide all the necessary details of materials before the dispatch. • Create Gate inward for materials which received other locations / sites Tugs and hand over to stores for GRN with reservation number. Qualifications Education Qualification: Graduation / Post Graduation Diploma.in materials Management Work Experience (Range of years): 5 - 7 years of experience in managing store
