Murren is seeking an experienced <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Surveyor</span> to support heavy civil construction projects, including earthwork, underground wet utilities (water, sewer, storm drainage), site development, and concrete structures. This role plays a vital part in ensuring accuracy, quality, and efficiency in the field.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform construction layout for underground utilities, structures, grading, concrete pours, embeds, and anchor bolts</li>\n<li>Verify installation accuracy of underground utilities and graded areas</li>\n<li>Establish and maintain benchmarks for pipe installation and associated structures</li>\n<li>Perform elevation and horizontal control calculations, including slope calculations</li>\n<li>Create and provide final as-built data and documentation</li>\n<li>Develop and maintain accurate field notes and documentation</li>\n<li>Operate robotic total stations, auto levels, and related survey equipment</li>\n<li>Utilize Trimble Siteworks and Carlson SurvCE for field data collection</li>\n<li>Generate as-built plans and support project documentation requirements</li>\n<li>Communicate survey data clearly to field crews and translate technical survey terminology into practical field direction</li>\n<li>Maintain survey equipment in proper working conditions</li>\n<li>Work independently in varying terrain and weather conditions</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years of heavy civil construction survey experience</li>\n<li>Strong experience with construction layout and underground utility projects</li>\n<li>Proficiency with Trimble Siteworks</li>\n<li>Experience operating robotic total stations and auto levels</li>\n<li>Ability to perform field calculations for elevations and horizontal control</li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li>\n<li>Self-driven with the ability to work independently</li>\n<li>Ability to remain standing and walking for extended periods and carry survey equipment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with Carlson Desktop Software</li>\n<li>Experience with Trimble Business Center</li>\n<li>Experience with Civil3D</li>\n<li>FAA Part 107 Drone License</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have valid driver's license</li>\n<li>Must be a U.S. Citizen</li>\n<li>Must participate in pre-employment and random drug screening program.</li>\n<li>Subject to a background screening process</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>To be considered for this position, you must first complete our Culture Index personality survey.
