Business Operating Systems and promoting continuous improvement initiatives.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ol start=\"2\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><li><u>REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:</u><strong>&nbsp;</strong></li></ol><ul><li>This position Directly reports to: Plant Manager</li><li>This position has Direct reporting responsibility over production cell leaders, molding technicians, machine operators</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><br></p><ol start=\"3\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><li><u>RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES:</u></li></ol><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><em>&nbsp;</em><em>The responsibilities and authorities for this position include, but are certainly not limited to:</em><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul style=\"margin-left: 53px \"><li>Assisting in development &amp; implementation of Quality &amp; Business Operating Systems</li><li>Ensure Plant Wide compliance to the above mentioned systems &amp; practices</li><li>Coordinating the daily activities of the facility as set out by the Plant Manager</li><li>Assist HR in development and implementation of policies, procedures and goals</li><li>Confer with customers as needed to evaluate and promote improved and expanded services</li><li>Develop plans for efficient use of materials, equipment and employees</li><li>Develop team atmosphere by using cross-functional teams during planning and implementation reviews which should include all levels of employees</li><li>Be an active member of the Joint Health &amp; Safety Committee</li><li>Leading continuous improvement efforts</li><li>Be an example to all employees through demonstrated professionalism and the ability to make accurate and timely decisions</li><li>Where necessary, provide planned or unplanned absence replacement support for Cell Leaders</li><li>Ensure personal and associate awareness and understanding of ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 Standards, and company policies and procedures.&nbsp;</li><li>During management system audit events provide evidence in support of conformance with applicable standards and procedures, and participate in corrective action activities as necessary.&nbsp;</li><li>Promote an atmosphere of team work at all times</li><li>Ensure that all employees work in a manner consistent with local and federal health and safety and environmental legislation</li><li>Ensure that a clean and safe work environment is always maintained</li><li>Ensure that sufficient resources are available for each department including training, safety requirements, personnel, business and shop tools through regular business meetings</li><li>Assist in any way to any employee, necessary to promote a successful operation emphasizing customer satisfaction</li><li>Be an example to all employees in all areas of the business through demonstrated professionalism, positive employee relations, and the ability to make accurate and timely decisions</li><li>Direct Cell Leaders in maintaining positive employee relations and a safe working environment</li><li>Manage the facility technical department activities including the supervision of the process and set-up technician and technical leads.</li><li>Complete any other duties as assigned</li><li>Ensure that all employees receive proper training and understand all job tasks</li><li>Support new product launches to achieve Company set launch goals&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:63.0pt;\"><br></p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; 4. <u>HEALTH &amp; SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES:</u></p><ul><li>The Production Manager is responsible for complying with the Company Health &amp; Safety Program including Occupational Health &amp; Safety Legislation, regulations, standards and Company Health &amp; Safety policies.&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><br></p><ol start=\"5\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><li><u>MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR DESIGNATION REQUIREMENTS:</u></li></ol><ul start=\"5\" style=\"margin-left: 53px;\"><li>Must possess a secondary school diploma or equivalent, with preference given to those who have completed some or all of a College level program.&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><ol start=\"6\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><li><u>MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:</u></li></ol><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><ul start=\"6\" style=\"margin-left: 53px;\"><li>Minimum 5 years&#39;
