      "value": "SYNOPSIS: The Continuous Improvement & Training Specialist is an individual contributor role responsible for driving operational efficiency, waste reduction, and workforce capability development within a manufacturing environment. This role partners with production, quality, engineering, and HR teams to implement Lean manufacturing initiatives while designing and delivering training that supports process adoption and employee skill development. The Specialist ensures improvements are sustained through standard work, effective training, and measurable performance outcomes.\n\t\n\tCOMPETENCY PROFILE: \n•\tGlobal Competencies: Collaborate; Deliver Results; Develop Yourself; Drive Customer Value; Improve and Innovate; Take Ownership\n\nRESPONSIBILITES:\n•\tLead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies. \n•\tIdentify and eliminate waste in manufacturing processes.\n•\tFacilitate Kaizen events, Gemba walks, and root cause analysis sessions.\n•\tImprove safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance on the production floor.\n•\tDevelop and implement standard work, visual management, and 5S practices.\n•\tAnalyze production metrics such as OEE, scrap, downtime, and cycle time.\n•\tDrive sustainable process improvements and ensure adoption across teams.\n•\tDesign and deliver training programs for operators, supervisors, and team leads.\n•\tCreate structured onboarding and upskilling programs for manufacturing roles.\n•\tDevelop training materials including SOPs, job aids, and visual work instructions.\n•\tFacilitate hands-on and classroom-style training sessions.\n•\tCoach employees on continuous improvement tools and problem-solving techniques.\n•\tEvaluate training effectiveness through observations, assessments, and performance data.\n•\tPartner with P&O COE team and leadership to identify skill gaps and training needs.\n•\tSupport change management and reinforce learning through on-the-job application.\n•\tTrack training completion, skill progression, and workforce capability metrics.\n•\tPromote a culture of continuous improvement and learning on the production floor.\n•\tOther duties as assigned.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS:\n•\tBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, HR/P&O, or related field (or equivalent experience).\n•\t3–7 years of experience in manufacturing, continuous improvement, or training roles.\n•\tHands-on experience with Lean manufacturing tools (Kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping).\n•\tExperience facilitating training in a production or industrial environment.\n•\tStrong understanding of manufacturing KPIs (OEE, scrap, yield, cycle time).\n•\tStrong facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.\n•\tAbility to influence and engage employees at all levels.\n•\tStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.\n•\tProficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.\n•\tDemonstrates a willingness to collaborate with others, build relationships, and involve others in decision making. \n•\tDemonstrates the ability to deliver results by solving or supporting others in solving problems, prioritizing tasks, and/or resources, and focusing on outcomes. \n•\tDemonstrates self-awareness and the willingness to learn and grow, accept changes, and effectively adapt to changing work demands. \n•\tDemonstrates the ability to drive customer value through knowledge of the business, putting effort into identifying customer needs, and delivering work to maximize the value for customers. \n•\tDemonstrates a willingness to promote the value of improvement and innovation by staying ahead of trends, creating ideas and opportunities, and generating speed. \n•\tDemonstrates a willingness to take ownership by making decisions, taking responsibility, and driving things forward. \n\nSUPPORTING QUALIFICATIONS:\n•\tLean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.\n•\tExperience in high-volume manufacturing or distribution.\n•\tKnowledge of adult learning principles or instructional design.\n•\tExperience with LMS or training tracking systems.\n\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:\n•\tRegular and on-time attendance.   \n•\t Ability to work on-site in a manufacturing environment \n•\tAbility to stand/walk the production floor for extended periods \n•\tAbility to facilitate group training sessions\n•\tThis is a hybrid position unless otherwise specified requiring 3 days in the office.",
