Your efforts will be key to enhancing customer satisfaction by identifying, escalating, and resolving issues promptly, all while striving to exceed quality expectations.<br><br>Reports to: Materials Manager<br>Pay rate: $65,000-$75,000/year<br><br><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:<br><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Sourcing</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review and monitor supplier on-time performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.</li>\n<li>Maintain optimal inventory levels to ensure timely deliveries.</li>\n<li>Assist in developing and executing cost reduction programs.</li>\n<li>Negotiate with suppliers for cost, quality, and delivery improvements.</li>\n<li>Process Non-Conformance Notifications (NCNs) and vendor returns.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to assess supplier quality.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Purchasing</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Initiate and oversee purchase contracts for assigned suppliers.</li>\n<li>Analyze reports on Purchase Price Variance (PPV).</li>\n<li>Review inventory levels of materials/products at other locations.</li>\n<li>Explore methods to reduce lead times.</li>\n<li>Meet with vendors to address and resolve issues.</li>\n<li>Respond to customer and production requests within four hours.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We’re Looking For:<br><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education and Experience</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.</li>\n<li>5 years of demonstrated experience in materials planning, inventory management and order fulfillment ideally in an industrial/automotive/aerospace manufacturing environment.</li>\n<li>This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Technical Skills</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>CPM or CPIM certification (or equivalent) preferred.</li>\n<li>Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and forecasting techniques.</li>\n<li>Excellent understanding of materials planning and inventory management principles.</li>\n<li>Must be proficient in using inventory management software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, ideally LN or similar such as SAP, CMS etc.</li>\n<li>Must be proficient with Microsoft Office with advance data organization and analytics capabilities in Excel.<br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Soft skills and other requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.</li>\n<li>Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.</li>\n<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of lean or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br>Benefits:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance on the first day of employment</li>\n<li>401k match up to 5%</li>\n<li>Paid Holidays</li>\n<li>Paid Time Off</li>\n<li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</li>\n<li>Annual safety shoe and safety glasses reimbursement</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Why Armstrong Fluid Technology?</span></p>\n<p>By joining us, you’ll become part of a global community dedicated to pushing the boundaries of fluid-flow technology.
