    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Job Summary</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for assisting the pharmacist in ensuring that Lowe’s delivers outstanding pharmacy services to meet and exceed customer expectations. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Candidates must be able to demonstrate clearly:</span></span></p>\n<ol>\n<li>Receives and verifies prescriptions and refill requests in accordance with Lowe’s policies and procedures</li>\n<li>Accurately enters prescription information using the software provided.</li>\n<li>Accurately prepares and labels medications</li>\n<li>Assist with prescription transfers, faxed prescriptions etc.</li>\n<li>Lead in inventory control: Order, price, enter invoices, monitor expiration dates and order quantities.</li>\n<li>Ensure adequate working supplies are available – ink, labels, etc.</li>\n<li>Assist with processing insurances</li>\n<li>Assist with answering the telephones</li>\n<li>Assist with OTC requests and provide information where necessary</li>\n<li>Maintains awareness of the latest medications and their availability</li>\n<li>Keeps up to date with current pharmacy practices</li>\n<li>Meets at least the minimum requirements for licensure with the Bahamas Pharmacy Council (BPC)</li>\n<li>Be in good standing with the Bahamas Pharmaceutical Association (BPA)</li>\n<li>Keeps appropriate records relating to the discharge of his/her duties</li>\n<li>Executes any other reasonable duty assigned by management</li>\n</ol>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Skills and Educational Requirements:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br>High school Diploma</li>\n<li><br>At least two years’ experience as a licensed technician</li>\n<li><br>Licensed Pharmacy Technician</li>\n<li><br>Good interpersonal, communication, organization and team building skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><br></p>",
