These roles are central to delivering safe, compliant, and reliable aircraft operations across our expanding fleet.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">About BermudAir</span></p>\n<p>Born from a deep love for Bermuda, BermudAir is dedicated to elevating the island’s global standing as a tourism and business hub. As the only airline offering year-round connectivity and premium service to Bermuda, we are redefining regional air travel with daily services across the USA, Canada, and the Caribbean.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Two post-holders will operate as Duty Engineers on opposite rotations, providing continuous day-to-day technical oversight of the operation. The third position is flexible — deployed where the business requires, whether performing hands-on line maintenance under our BermudAir Technical Operations (BTO) approval, supporting heavy maintenance inputs, or managing fleet additions. The intention is that this split between Duty Engineer and Flexible Assignment provides a great variety and enables the Engineers’ authorisations to remain active.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Role rotation: 4 weeks working 7 on/7 off based from home, followed by 14 days overseas (with 7 days off on either side of the 14 days away)</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p>Duty Engineer — Based from Home - 7 days on 7 days off</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide authoritative type expert advice and technical guidance to MCC Coordinators and Flight Crew.</li>\n<li>Review fault history and data downloads; generate preventative maintenance Engineering Orders (EOs) to improve fleet reliability.</li>\n<li>Review the maintenance forecast to ensure all scheduled tasks are adequately resourced and planned in advance.</li>\n<li>Manage and minimise the Acceptable Deferred Defects (ADD) list, ensuring ongoing compliance and operational efficiency.</li>\n<li>Liaise with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and participate as a member of relevant industry steering committees.</li>\n<li>Monitor and optimise fleet status, ensuring aircraft are operated as efficiently as possible.</li>\n<li>Supervise contracted MCC Coordinators, providing technical direction and day-to-day oversight.</li>\n<li>Manage AOG events as the primary Point of Contact (POC), ensuring accurate and timely communication to all operational teams.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Technical Representative &amp; Line Maintenance — Overseas Deployment (14 Days)</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform line maintenance on the fleet in Bermuda, operating in accordance with the BTO Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) and associated procedures.</li>\n<li>Conduct AOG recoveries at any location across the BermudAir network, ensuring the fastest safe return to service.</li>\n<li>Represent the organisation technically at heavy maintenance inputs and aircraft transition or induction events.</li>\n<li>Attend OEM conferences and technical forums to maintain current product knowledge.</li>\n<li>Conduct quality control audits and inspections at third-party maintenance providers.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Profile &amp; Qualifications</span></p>\n<p>Essential</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Current EASA, TCCA, or CAA Licensed Aircraft Engineer with Embraer E190 type authorisation.</li>\n<li>Minimum 5 years of certifying experience in a supervisory or management capacity.</li>\n<li>Proven ability to work independently on one's own initiative with minimal supervision.</li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure and manage complex, fast-paced, and evolving operational situations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Desirable</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous experience in an MCC or airline operations control environment.</li>\n<li>Previous experience as an Aircraft Technical Representative.</li>\n<li>Background in airline operations or integrated fleet management.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Join Us!</span></p>\n<p>If you are passionate about aviation engineering, operational excellence, and maintaining the highest standards of aircraft safety and performance, we invite you to apply for the <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Technical Operations Engineer</span> position at BermudAir.
