BrightFarms&#39; fresh lettuce options, from classic greens to crunchy mixes and salad kits, are available in more than 4,500 retail stores across the East Coast and Midwest.</p><p>We&rsquo;re looking for a <strong>Senior Financial Analyst&nbsp;</strong>to help scale our financial operations, build robust reporting and forecasting tools, and delivery strategic analyses that shape the company&rsquo;s future. The role will report to the Senior Finance Manager and collaborate closely with the Senior Director of FP&amp;A in shaping and executing BrightFarms&#39; financial strategy and operations. The position also provides direct exposure to work with the CFO of Cox Farms.</p><p><strong>Specifically, you will:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Own and build reporting and forecasting materials for monthly business reviews and board presentations</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead and coordinate the annual budgeting process across functional stakeholders</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Deliver actionable insights on budget vs. actual performance, highlighting key drivers, risks, and opportunities for senior leadership decision-making</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform detailed variance analysis (budget vs. actual vs. forecast), including root-cause drivers and forward-looking implications</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Partner with Accounting during month-end close to ensure accurate financial reporting and support scalable billing and invoicing processes</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Translate business strategy into financial models, KPIs, and measurable targets to drive long-term growth and profitability</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Build and maintain dynamic financial models for current and future greenhouse operations, including labor planning, yield optimization, and operating cost modeling</li></ul><p><strong>The ideal candidate:</strong></p><ul><li>3+ years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP&amp;A, equity research, private equity, hedge fund, investment banking, corporate finance, or related role</li><li>Strong foundational knowledge of corporate accounting (e.g. cash vs accrual, etc.)</li><li>Proven ability to build &amp; interpret 3-statement financial models</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\">Advanced Excel proficiency, including experience working with large datasets, complex modeling, and scenario analysis</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Robust analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong cross-functional communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">First-principles thinker: Able to break down ambiguous problems, challenge assumptions, and build data-driven solutions quickly</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with NetSuite and Bill.com</li><li>Familiarity with BI or data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)</li><li>Experience in CPG, agriculture, or growth-stage businesses a plus</li><li>Genuine interest for sustainable agriculture</li></ul><p style='box-sizing: border-box;
