As a <strong>Field Service Technician</strong>, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing construction equipment while delivering outstanding support to our customers throughout the region.</p>\n\n<p>With industry-leading training and support, you&#39;ll have the opportunity to build a rewarding career with one of the most respected machinery service teams in the western United States.</p>\n\n<hr />\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>$2,000 Signing Bonus</li>\n\t<li>Paid Sick Leave</li>\n\t<li>Paid Vacation</li>\n\t<li>Paid Holidays</li>\n\t<li>Company-paid medical insurance for employees and their families (100% premium coverage)</li>\n\t<li>Dental and Vision Insurance</li>\n\t<li>401(k) and Roth 401(k) with Company Match</li>\n\t<li>Quarterly and Annual Bonus Programs</li>\n\t<li>Company Stock awarded to employees with 5+ years of service</li>\n</ul>\n\n<hr />\n<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Diagnose, repair, and maintain construction equipment in the field and at customer job sites</li>\n\t<li>Travel to various customer locations throughout the assigned territory</li>\n\t<li>Disassemble, inspect, clean, and reassemble equipment components</li>\n\t<li>Follow manufacturer specifications and service manual procedures</li>\n\t<li>Identify parts requiring repair or replacement and coordinate parts ordering</li>\n\t<li>Utilize diagnostic and testing equipment to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems</li>\n\t<li>Prepare warranty recommendations and documentation</li>\n\t<li>Perform minor welding, fabrication, plumbing, alignment, and DC electrical repairs</li>\n\t<li>Support and guide junior technicians during equipment repairs</li>\n\t<li>Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment</li>\n\t<li>Complete service reports and documentation in English</li>\n\t<li>Process warranty and customer work orders</li>\n\t<li>Obtain customer purchase orders and manage service job paperwork</li>\n\t<li>Open and close work orders accurately and efficiently</li>\n\t<li>Respond to service calls and communicate job status, progress, and issues with customers</li>\n\t<li>Assist with special projects as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n\n<hr />\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n\n<h3>Required Skills &amp; Experience</h3>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Valid Class A CDL required</li>\n\t<li>Experience repairing and maintaining construction equipment</li>\n\t<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications is a plus</li>\n\t<li>Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills</li>\n\t<li>Ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers, copiers, and scanners</li>\n\t<li>Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities</li>\n\t<li>Strong commitment to safety and customer service</li>\n</ul>\n\n<hr />\n<h2>Additional Responsibilities</h2>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Assist the Service Manager with departmental projects and tasks</li>\n\t<li>Maintain a clean and professional service truck and workspace</li>\n</ul>\n\n<hr />\n<h2>Physical Requirements &amp; Work Environment</h2>\n\n<p>This position requires regular physical activity and the ability to work in both shop and field environments.</p>\n\n<p>Responsibilities include:</p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Walking on uneven terrain and active job sites</li>\n\t<li>Frequently lifting and carrying 50+ pounds</li>\n\t<li>Operating hand tools, power tools, equipment, and machinery</li>\n\t<li>Bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching in various directions</li>\n\t<li>Climbing on and off heavy equipment</li>\n\t<li>Working in standing, sitting, and prone positions as needed</li>\n\t<li>Reading service manuals, work orders, and equipment documentation</li>\n\t<li>Communicating effectively by radio, telephone, and in person</li>\n\t<li>Identifying mechanical issues through visual inspection and sound</li>\n\t<li>Operating company vehicles and service equipment</li>\n</ul>\n\n<hr />\n<h2>Equal Employment Opportunity</h2>\n\n<p>Arnold Machinery is an Equal Opportunity Employer and an Affirmative Action employer.
