    "requisitionDescription": "<div><table border=\"0\" cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\" width=\"678\" data-pasted=\"true\"><tbody><tr><td colspan=\"4\" valign=\"top\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><strong>Job Title: Quality Technician (2nd shift)&nbsp;<br>Schedule: Sunday- Tuesday (Alternating Wednesdays) 5:00 PM- 5:00 AM</strong></td></tr></tbody></table><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Duties/Responsibilities:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Responsible for inspection and evaluation of product returns. Product returns may be a product that has been rejected due to a customer complaint, incorrect product shipped to a customer, etc. Sampling of incoming raw products, ingredients and packaging materials based on the predetermined sampling plans.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Evaluation of collected samples based on Thrive Foods&rsquo; established specifications and requirements. Issuing incoming materials inspection reports, as well as non-conformance reports for materials that do not conform to specifications; ensuring all incoming material inspection reports are filed properly.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Review supplier certificates of analysis (COAs) against the Thrive Foods specifications to ensure conformance. Inspection and evaluation of product returns.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Conduct pre-operational inspections on processing equipment via ATP and visual inspections, document results, and work with the sanitation/maintenance teams to ensure compliance prior to production startup.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&nbsp;Perform audits on production lines and products during production runs to ensure conformance to our food safety and quality plans.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participate in the plant EMP (environmental monitoring program). Conduct swabbing as scheduled.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Communication of non-conformances to upper management. Hold and release products following company&rsquo;s hold and release SOP.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Control and maintain all QA Sample storage and library of samples to ensure quick retrieval.&nbsp;</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Education and Experience:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Two years&rsquo; experience in field, laboratory, or production facility quality control.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience in food manufacturing or food service highly preferred.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with working with ERP and Quality programs.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Intermediate computer skills ( proficiently managing files, navigating operating system, excel files)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally and effectively to internal and external customers.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Good written and verbal communication skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Good organizational skills.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain good attendance.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Physical Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Frequent lifting, pushing, and/or pulling; &nbsp;frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and &nbsp;some fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires the following percentages of time committed to physical activity: &nbsp;20% or more sitting, &nbsp;70% or more walking, and &nbsp;70% or more standing.
