Apply now!</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Estimator Job Duties:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and requirements, setting priorities.</li>\n<li>Prepares construction budget by studying plans; updating specifications; identifying and projecting costs for each elevation.</li>\n<li>Evaluates offers to purchase by costing changes, additions, and site requirements.</li>\n<li>Obtains bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials; identifying qualified subcontractors; negotiating price.</li>\n<li>Maintains cost keys and price masters by updating information.</li>\n<li>Resolves cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.</li>\n<li>Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.</li>\n<li>Ability to prepare quantity takeoffs and scope sheets for bids.</li>\n<li>Perform site visits when required to gather information to prepare a cost proposal for our clients.</li>\n<li>Communicate with subcontractors and gain their interest in bidding on projects.</li>\n<li>Think critically and derive the most economical options for clients while maintaining a quality product.</li>\n<li>Maintains quality service by following organization standards.</li>\n<li>Maintains continuity among corporate, division, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.</li>\n<li>Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.</li>\n<li>Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven experience as construction estimator</li>\n<li>Basic understanding of accounting and project management concepts</li>\n<li>Deep understanding of research methodology, data analysis and estimation metrics</li>\n<li>Comfortable with numbers and technology</li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of estimating software</li>\n<li>Basic computer skills and software (Microsoft Office Software, more specifically Excel)</li>\n<li>Great attention to detail</li>\n<li>Ability to prepare quantity takeoffs and scope sheets for bids</li>\n<li>Excellent communication and negotiation abilities</li>\n<li>Well-organized, reliable, and strong work ethic</li>\n<li>BS/BA in engineering, construction science or relevant field</li>\n<li>Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or other qualification will be a plus</li>\n<li>Exhibit ethical practices during negotiations and dealing with owners</li>\n<li>Experienced in Conceptual Budget Estimating</li>\n<li>Familiarity with establishing Guarantee Maximum Price Packages</li>\n<li>Experience in Pre-Construction Estimating</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">COMPENSATION &amp; BENEFITS</span></p>\n<p>Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision</p>\n<p>Flex plans</p>\n<p>Life insurance</p>\n<p>Supplemental insurance plans</p>\n<p>401K</p>\n<p>PTO Holidays </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Noble Texas Builders is an equal opportunity employer.</p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Recruiters/Staffing Agency please do not contact.</span></p>",
