In this role, you’ll be part of <b>Platform Engineering</b>, a centralized organization that builds scalable engineering solutions so product and application teams can stay focused on delivering business value.</p><p></p><p>Platform Engineering designs and delivers core capabilities across the engineering ecosystem, including optimizing CI/CD pipelines, building automation to enforce security and compliance standards, developing tools that extend cloud platform functionality, and eliminating manual toil through smart automation.</p><p>This position is based in <b>Westlake, Texas</b> and combines hands-on software development with technical leadership. You will play a key role in setting engineering standards, influencing platform architecture, and mentoring engineers across the team.</p><p></p><p></p><p><span class=\"emphasis-2\"><b>The Expertise and Skills You Bring</b></span></p><ul><li><p>A solid and strong foundation in software engineering – bachelor’s degree &#43; preferred, 8&#43; years’ experience</p></li><li><p>Expert and comfortable with Python and or core Java technologies and frameworks like Spring Boot</p></li><li><p>Understanding of AWS or other cloud platforms and containerization technologies such as EKS and Docker</p></li><li><p>Experience with the following technologies: Spring, REST/Web Services, Maven, JSON, Apache Tomcat, Swagger, Message Queues</p></li><li><p>Identifies opportunities to improve maintainability of the application automation through testing</p></li><li><p>Comfortable with Design, development, and enhancement of Automation frameworks</p></li><li><p>Hands on experience in Selenium, Cucumber, FitNesse</p></li><li><p>Experienced with SQL databases (Oracle preferred) and hands-on experience is building complex SQL queries required for data validations</p></li><li><p>Identify opportunities to improve maintainability of application automation platform</p></li><li><p>Strong experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery using tools like Concourse, GIT, Jenkins, Artifactory, Veracode, and uDeploy.</p></li><li><p>Passionate and committed to learning new things and developing with the latest technologies and frameworks</p></li><li><p>Work well in both a small agile team and independently, having a strong user focus</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at a given time</p></li><li><p>Experience utilizing AI capabilities to generate code and increase productivity.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge in creating agentic AI solutions</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><span class=\"emphasis-2\"><b>The Value You Deliver</b></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Work with product management on requirements, </span><span>decompose strategical outcomes into deliverable releases</span><span>, and deliver solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations</span></p></li><li><p><span>Build scalable, resilient, cloud-based systems aligned with our long-term strategy</span></p></li><li><p><span>Provide outstanding support, including on-call support when necessary</span></p></li><li><p><span>Deliver platform strategy through high quality iterative releases continually providing features to stakeholders.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Mentor junior software engineers</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><span class=\"emphasis-2\"><b>The Team</b></span></p><p>This is a central team providing solutions that scale to benefit the enterprise.
