Inside a historic 1871 gatehouse perched over the Seekonk River, the Waterman Grille presents a vibrant culinary experience on Providence’s East Side. Our cooking philosophy is inspired by the seasons, emphasizing fresh, local ingredients, with lively flavors and techniques emboldened by the embers of our wood-fired grill. Waterman Grille is proud to be part of the Newport Restaurant Group! About the Position: In the Catering Cook role, you will prepare, season, and cook food for banquet service. About You : You are passionate about food. You have a strong sense of urgency, great organizational skills, and a positive attitude. Essential Duties: Maintain the work area and equipment, in a clean and sanitary condition Have thorough knowledge of menus and the preparation required, according to established standards Prepare food for Banquets, following specifications on Banquet Event Orders Breakdown banquets and plated meals, storing food and equipment properly at the end of event Work banquet food station as scheduled by the catering chef Compensation and Benefits: Competitive compensation - $23-$25 per hour!
