This position is responsible for preparing, cooking, serving, and transporting food while maintaining the highest standards of sanitation, food safety, and cleanliness. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and performing physically demanding tasks.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare, cook, and portion food for regular and modified diets.</li>\n<li>Set up serving lines and distribute meals to patients and cafeteria customers.</li>\n<li>Operate commercial kitchen equipment and food preparation tools safely.</li>\n<li>Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, workstations, and food service areas.</li>\n<li>Wash dishes using commercial dishwashing equipment and three-compartment sinks.</li>\n<li>Assist with food transportation, delivery carts, and meal distribution.</li>\n<li>Operate a cash register when assigned.</li>\n<li>Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.</li>\n<li>Complete assigned duties accurately and within established productivity standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Physical Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the workday.</li>\n<li>Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.</li>\n<li>Ability to lift up to 40 pounds independently and up to 75 pounds with assistance.</li>\n<li>Ability to work safely around hot equipment, sharp utensils, and potentially slippery surfaces.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous experience in food service, dietary services, cafeteria operations, hospitality, restaurant, or commercial kitchen environments preferred.</li>\n<li>Ability to work rotating schedules, including weekends.</li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and safety procedures.</li>\n<li>Dependable attendance and punctuality.</li>\n<li>Ability to work effectively as part of a team.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.</li>\n<li>Must successfully complete a DBHDD Criminal Background Screening.</li>\n<li>Must pass a 10-Panel Drug Screen.</li>\n<li>Must be available to work either the Early Morning Shift (5:00 AM – 3:00 PM) or Mid Morning Shift (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM).</li>\n<li>Must be available to work rotating weekday schedules and every other weekend.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Preferred Experience</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hospital dietary services</li>\n<li>Healthcare food service</li>\n<li>School cafeteria operations</li>\n<li>Correctional facility food service</li>\n<li>Large-scale institutional food preparation</li>\n<li>Restaurant or commercial kitchen experience</li>\n</ul>",
