And our tuition reimbursement program is the perfect springboard to help you get there!</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>So, what does a Business Analyst, D365 ERP do?</strong></p>\n<p>A Business Analyst, D365 ERP translates stakeholder requirements into technical specifications, supports data-driven projects, and leverages technology to meet strategic goals, specifically focusing on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O).  This role also contributes to process and technology optimization and training throughout all ERP project phases.  Frequent stakeholder engagement across all functions and levels of the organization is essential.</p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>D365 System Optimization:</strong> Support the configuration, testing, and maintenance of D365 F&O across all implemented modules (e.g. Finance, Operations, Expense Mgmt.).</li>\n <li><strong>Data & Integration Management:</strong> Map and validate data migrations and monitor interfaces between D365 and other connected systems; support error handling activities.</li>\n <li><strong>Requirement Gathering & Analysis:</strong> Collect, clarify, and document business requirements, translating them into actionable, high-quality documentation.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Process Improvement</strong>: Study business functions to identify bottlenecks and develop strategies for enhancing operational efficiency. Monitor, maintain, and support automated ERP business processes to ensure continuity of critical operations. </li>\n <li><strong>Support & Troubleshooting:</strong>Serve as a functional point of contact for D365, providing daily application support to manage end user requests, troubleshoot issues, track pain points through resolution</li>\n <li><strong>Technology Implementation:</strong>Act as a liaison between business units and IT, assisting with the selection, development, and implementation of new technology, including AI/automation.</li>\n <li><strong>Data Analysis & Modeling:</strong>Utilize data modeling techniques to assess current company performance and create actionable, data-driven reports.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Stakeholder Collaboration:</strong> Facilitate communication between departments to ensure alignment of goals.</li>\n <li><strong>Testing & Quality Control:</strong> Develop test plans and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and conduct audits to ensure system improvements meet business needs.  Track and monitor performance within Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO).</li>\n <li>Monitor and maintain controls and compliance, especially data governance.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Support efforts to identify control improvements and advancements.</li>\n <li><strong>Training: </strong>Support the development of ERP training materials and deliver training to end users as needed.</li>\n <li>Partner with team members, stakeholders, and subject matter experts on ERP initiatives and enhancements. </li>\n <li>Conduct discovery to identify, define, and document business requirements; translate requirements into functional design documents (FDDs). </li>\n <li>Partner with development teams to build, test, and implement ERP solutions. </li>\n <li>Identify, document, test, and validate system setup, configuration, and integration changes. </li>\n <li>Support change management activities and communication related to ERP updates and system releases. </li>\n <li>Monitor system performance and proactively identify risks, issues, or improvement opportunities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Reporting Structure</strong></p>\n<p>VP of IT</p>\n<p>    ↓</p>\n<p>Manager – Enterprise Applications</p>\n<p>    ↓</p>\n<p>Business Analyst – D365 ERP</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications & Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Education: </strong>Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required</li>\n <li>2+ years of experience in a business analyst, systems analyst, or IT-related role, with proven implementation and/or support experience in Microsoft D365 F&O. Experience with additional CRM, HRIS, or similar enterprise platforms is a plus.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>System Knowledge:</strong> Solid understanding of D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) modules</li>\n <li><strong>Functional Expertise:</strong> Strong grasp of business processes, including order-to-cash (O2C), procure-to-pay (P2P), or finance processes (GL, AP, AR).</li>\n <li><strong>Analytical Skills:</strong> Proven ability to document complex processes, analyze data, and perform gap/fit analysis.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent communication skills are essential to engage with senior leadership, project stakeholders, and cross functional teams.</li>\n <li>A track record of supporting complex system implementations or upgrades is a plus.</li>\n <li>Experience with ITSM systems like DevOps or Jira is a plus.</li>\n <li>Microsoft and/or Dynamics 365 certifications are a plus.</li>\n <li>PMP, Scrum Master, or similar certification is a plus.</li>\n <li>Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) is preferred.</li>\n <li>Proficiency with SQL database tools and data visualization software is a plus.</li>\n <li>Knowledge and use of the Microsoft Office Suite is required.</li>\n <li>Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p>\n<p>In a typical work setting, people in this job:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Use hands/fingers to type and move office objects</li>\n <li>Sit for long periods of time</li>\n <li>Hear sounds and recognize the difference between them</li>\n <li>See details of objects that are less than a few feet away and far distances</li>\n <li>See differences between colors, shades, and brightness.</li>\n <li>Lift 20 pounds on occasion</li>\n <li>Kneel, stoop, crouch, bend, stretch, twist or crawl, on occasion</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Silvi Materials does not discriminate in employment on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), national origin, political affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, genetic information, age, membership in an employee organization, retaliation, parental status, military service, or other non-merit factors.</p>\n<p> </p>",
