Opened in 1954 and designed by Morris Lapidus, it was the most luxurious hotel on Miami Beach, and is thought to be the most significant building of Lapidus' career.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>The position of Server is dedicated to exceeding expectations of both internal and external guests to ensure the highest level of service is consistently provided. Teamwork is the key to success in providing a warm and personal experience. The Servers role will be to provide excellent guest service with the support of the Assistant Server and the Food Server. The Server will ensure the proper set up of the station and work areas assigned and the smooth serving of food and beverage to all of his/her guests. At the end of the shift, the Server will prepare the set up for the next meal period/next day. The Server will also offer support to all other colleagues in the restaurant, a team of professionals with a passion for food and beverage. \n<strong><u>Examples of Duties, includes but is not limited to the following</u></strong>\n<strong>:</strong>\n<strong> </strong>1.         Become familiar with all menu items, wine, and spirits.2.         Take and deliver food and beverage orders to guests and ensure correct and prompt delivery of orders.3.         Enter order into computer system to request food preparation.4.         Observe guests to respond if additional service is required.5.         Prepare check and deliver to guests when finished.6.         Clear, clean, reset, and maintain station during shift.7.         Follow all proper cash, credit card, and room charge procedures.8.         Follow all proper check control procedures.9.         Perform other related duties as assigned.\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of the basic functions of food operations. Working knowledge of acceptable standards of sanitation and proper chemical usage. </li>\n <li>Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, staff, and guests. </li>\n <li>Relevant experience in a high quality, high volume operation preferred.</li>\n</ul>",
