The Paint Technician performs cleaning and touchup of painted parts.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Inspect parts for defects prior to paint; segregate and report non-conforming material to lead.</li><li>Mask and plug painted surfaces per drawing and/or specifications.</li><li>Unmask parts and wrap parts.</li><li>Inspect painted parts for defects. Segregate and report defective parts to lead.</li><li>Prepare paints using measurement equipment, such as viscosity cups.</li><li>Apply paint coating systems, using spray equipment, stencils, rollers and brushes.</li><li>Clean and touch up painted parts.</li><li>Check paint thicknesses using wet and dry paint gages.</li><li>Other tasks assigned by the Supervisor.</li></ul>",
